I needed a more cost effective option compared to my old vendor I was using. The work isn't bad but not every box came perforated which is a problem as my company uses boxes for sending out samples and hardware and need to be able to box up quick than trying to figure out the folds that should've already been done.

We have ordered from Packlane for many years now and I appreciate the ability to see my design right on the screen when I'm creating it. The quality of the boxes was very high and well done for many years. The downside is the the price is super expensive when ordering small runs and I get that the custom box requires extra work. The shipping that is tacked on later is not really a great surprise, it would be nice to know up front that the shipping increases the price of the box dramatically and is really left as an unknown until the boxes are shipped. In the past when seeking better pricing I was told the wait time would be weeks longer than the usual 4-6 weeks because they had to switch print styles. The price would be more up front and less later. The salesman had horrible customer service and I wasn't impressed for as many boxes as we print - even if we are smaller we are a frequent customer. Our most recent order was obviously printed more cheaply. Instead of a nice clean cut box they smell like the smoke cut from a laser printer that burnt the edges of the boxes. They are also made from thinner box material and the coating on the box is thinner as well giving an over all cheap look - the price I paid was in the 10K's and NOT cheap on my end at all. I'm pretty disappointed after all this time we have put in. If I wasn't a busy business owner I'd probably be looking for better customer service. For now we make do with what we have until we can find time to look for new printers.

Boxes are very good - customer service and turnaround is of a high standard too. Very easy to design boxes which is a major plus. Because we order to the UK, the major disadvantage is their shipping costs. They quoted $381 to ship to the UK, whereas my US shipping company quoted $140. Therefore I had to pay internal US shipping costs to Floirda and plus international shipping on top (and it was still cheaper than quoted). I did ask them about this and Packlane said they pay at shipping at cost... not sure who to believe here because if that's true they are paying 3 x what other businesses pay.

The online design was super simple and easy to use. I love how you can adjust the sizes, colors, and load your own logo. For someone that isn't very savvy when it comes to design, your website makes me feel like a pro. Having said that, what shows up on your website is completely different from the actual product. I was disappointed at how far off the colors were for my designs. I had a simple black and white design, and the first time I received your box, the white lettering was all brown. I was told that the kraft box doesn't work too well with white. It would have been great if you had some sort of message prior to my purchase. I know you have it listed in your FAQs but no one reads that. So I ordered the same design but with the white box and I was still a bit disappointed at how far off the colors were.

We would consider your services in the future, providing you offer blind drop shipping. It cost us an additional $160 to ship to our client, eating away at any profit we may have had. Let us know when you have blind shipping in place and we will reconsider adding Packlane to our preferred vendor list.

Love the product and the fact that you are willing to get into all the details I drive you crazy with. Still some things that need to work out but I know you'll get there. 1.Time- hopefully could be done quicker. 2. Phone support- not just e-mails. 3. Coating issues on classic carton.

I would give Packlane all 5 stars if their website was a little clearer with the ordering process. I ordered blank boxes and selected that I would send a template - they didn't acknowledge same and sold me blank boxes. In the end and after much back and forth and the mention of bureau of better business they offered me a 10% discount and rushed my correct order which I ended up having to spend $100USD more for shipping because I was now WAAAY behind time
