My faith in humanity is restored. After a long hospitalization for sudden and severe hypoxia, I was sent home with an oxygen concentrator the size of a dog house and a 20-pound tank apparatus for back-up in a power failure. No real diagnosis and no plans for rehab. I requested something portable that would allow me to pursue my active life, full of friends and animal rescue, but was told that the bulky tank-on-wheels was for both back-up AND travel! Not satisfied, I went to the internet to find alternatives and found the Oxygen Concentrator Store. I asked for Internet pricing and almost immediately got a call from an upbeat New Yorker named Kevin. He was very helpful to explain the top of the line, portable oxygen concentrators available including the differences, pros and cons. He helped me choose a machine that would meet my needs and then helped me find the required documentation to permit my purchase. (I had been discharged from the hospital on oxygen, but didn’t have a formal prescription.) Kevin was patient, knowledgeable and helped me keep my sense of humor. He gave me a good price and upgraded my battery free. I selected the accessories I thought I would like and Kevin made the process simple. He even shipped the whole order that evening so I could have my Caire Freestyle Comfort concentrator by Friday! After a fairly stressful and unpleasant hospital stay and navigating around an absent/vacationing primary care doctor, it was really a joy to find the Oxygen Concentrator Store, where I felt heard and valued. My whole experience was five-star and I am relieved to have a friendly, personal contact for future questions. Thank you so much!
