Hi Lou, thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that your order and delivery went smoothly. We apologize that the manual or instructions were not included. To answer your questions based on the FreeStyle Comfort User Manual: -Leaving a fully charged battery on the charger – The manual does not state that it must be removed immediately, but it does mention that storing batteries at full charge for extended periods may degrade battery life. To extend battery longevity, it's best to remove it once fully charged. -Keeping the charger plugged in when not charging a battery – The manual does not indicate that this will cause damage, but unplugging it when not in use is recommended to avoid unnecessary power consumption. -Battery storage – If the battery won’t be used for an extended period (a month or more), it should be stored at 50%-75% charge rather than fully charged or depleted.
