I bought an xplor2 unit with the double battery. The first one I received did not even turn on. Oxymedical replaced that unit and I only used it for short trips to the store and once camping. After not even 5 months, went on long weekend vacation and got 3 hours on the road the machine powered off and had a code that 02 cartridge needed to be replaced. Not the 18 month time period but 5 months! Never powered on other than same code. Had to rent emergency concentrator in that town for $200. Which kept me in motel room. Not counting 5 hour drive home with nothing. Called on Friday and all weekend. Was told I would get a call back but didn't until Monday. Now $89 for shipping of 3rd unit replacement. This is awful and dangerous for people that need oxygen like me! Everything they promised when I bought it, was a lie. Not reliable and very dangerous! I am reporting to the FDA's MedWatch program. I am still waiting again for Oxymedical to call me back to collect their $89 shipping. Do not buy from these people!!! Your life may depend on it.

I worked with Sarah from their Florida location to purchase a portable oxygen concentrator and 2 floor oxygen concentrators. She was absolutely wonderful to work with! Very personable and extremely helpful. She helped me to get the best deal and not pressure sell me. She is such an asset to their company, when customer service in the world seems so bleak these days. I even had to request a past invoice and she was very happy to forward on to me and she did it immediately! She deserves a big raise!! If I had my own company I would steal her away! I would have given the company 5 Stars had I been only working with Sarah who was such a pleasure, but I was very disappointed in Angel. My mom passed away in March 2026 and I requested a buy back for all 3 machines. I was only given a quote on the portable for $250 when my mom paid $2400 for it and it was barely used. Not sure why my other 2 requests were ignored and they were all submitted separately as the website instructed. Angel’s email was cold and rude. I not only was dealing with the sting of losing my mom but I had to be insulted by such a ridiculously low offer with no sense of empathy from this person. My mom spent $5400 with this company and I feel like they are trying to gouge us in order to make a huge profit off her again. Very, very disappointed and think Angel could use some customer service pointers from Sarah. Not sure if this is how other companies handle the same situation but I will be looking to do a buy back somewhere else. Lori Palm Harbor, FL

I ordered a concentrator in December. Mt concentrator is not working for several weeks. I called the company to see if they can help me and they do not respond

I normally do not write reviews but wanted to take a minute and publically recognize Heath for his exceptional customer care. I called Oximedical on Friday Heath walked me through options for portable and home oxygen . Heath gave me a number where I could reach him over the weekend with questions ( I did contact him and he did respond. ) Monday morning I reached out to him, he wasn't at work (we are in Iowa and he is in Arizona - I forgot he is in a different time zone) yet he responded . As soon as he was at work he called and assisted me with my order. Heath went above and beyond . Literally, when every breath a person takes depends on an oxygen delivery system (from Oximedical ), it is important to know that your receiving quick, knowledgeable, and reliable customer care. Many thanks Heath, your Mother named you right just like the Heath candy bar SWEET and Caring!

The agent was quick to understand my problem and resolved it by sending me a new machine which I received in 2 days. And only after I received the replacement was I required to return the old machine. Wonderful service! That is a level of trust that one rarely finds in today’s world. I will always use OxiMedical for any future needs. G.S.

I have had the same issues as many people have written about. I have a unit that is supposed to have a lifetime warranty, however, that doesn't include the columns or battery ect...so I guess it just covers the 'shell'. You have to send it in for the columns to be replaced. So last time they said they could send a refurbished one so mom didn't have to wait for the repair. The refurbished one didn't last long, or at least didn't have much usage before it failed. When I called,they said they'd send another refurbished unit but the columns were passed the warranty period so they said I'd have to pay $295 plus $80ish for shipping. I explained that the unit hadn't been used much because it was a back up unit, but they said I still had to pay for the columns in the new unit...wouldn't even cover some of the shipping. Then during our conversation I said the battery went from 100% to 0% in under 2 hours (when the battery lasts at least 5) and the machine said there was a technical failure. So when I sent it back, I left the battery on it because I didn't know if the battery was good or not. The one they sent, didn't have a battery. Ugh...I called again and they said they'd send a battery...maybe the one i sent in (that may or may not work) or one similar in age ect...(not sure) but I had to pay shipping. Again, they couldn't even waive that. She said that the invoice sent with the refurbished unit said to remove the battery before sending back and that she always says to remove items like canulas, batteries etc. I didn't register that because the battery dropped so fast that I wasn't sure if it was part of the problem or if the technical unit failure ruined the battery. I told her this and she said that battery is out of warranty (not part of the lifetime warranty). I feel they are scamish and unclear...they leave the impression that they don't care at all about the customer.
