⭐ 1/5 — Extremely Disappointing Experience I placed several jewelry orders on Overstock because the items were listed as in stock and offered at a significant discount. My orders went through successfully, so I expected them to be fulfilled. A few days later, Overstock suddenly cancelled all of my orders, claiming the items were out of stock. What makes this especially frustrating is that the same jewelry continued to be listed on the website afterward—only now at full price. If these items were truly out of stock, why were they still being offered for sale? It is extremely disappointing to purchase merchandise at an advertised sale price, have the orders accepted, and then have them cancelled while the same products remain available at a much higher price. I ordered multiple pieces, so this was not an isolated issue with one item. The fact that it happened across several orders makes the experience even more concerning. I expected Overstock to honor the prices advertised when I placed my orders. At the very least, I would expect a clear explanation for why the supposedly “out of stock” merchandise remained listed for sale at full price. This experience has seriously affected my trust in Overstock and its advertised discounts. I would caution other customers to be aware that even after an order is successfully placed, the advertised price may apparently not be honored.
