Terrible returns experience. Don't bother dealing with customer service. They constantly push you around and ask you to jump through hoops, only to tell you it is not enough. If you happened to have purchased one of the many bad quality items, just chargeback and toss the item--it is not worth the hassle.

Ordered two pieces from Overstock.com. The big piece a two drawer tool caddy arrived after taking forever to be shipped by warehouse. The other pieces had not arrived after > 3 weeks. I have called overstock.com several times and finally gave up and ask for refund. It would appear that they did not have the product as I was told by FedEx they shipped an empty box and it had been returned to OS. OS then told me they would send the product out in the next 2-3 days on the 9th of Feb. It is now 15 Feb and it was not shipped so cancelled order and ask for refund told it would take 4-5 days. Wouldn't trust them again.

Just don't buy from them. I bought a $600 bed, which was broken up into 2 delivery packages. The first package took one month to arrive. The second part of the delivery was misdelivered by Canpar to a different address. After weeks of contacting Canpar and Overstock, nothing was done to find my package even though the person who had received the package had reported it to Canpar and Overstock, and Canpar had picked up the package again. Overstock refunded me the money even though I didn't ask for it and told me they couldn't do anything. I bought the second part of the bed from a different retailer. I then contacted the bed manufacturer to get the hardware I needed and they sent it to Overstock. Now Overstock is refusing to send me the hardware set even though I want to pay for both the hardware set and delivery. It's been two months since I put in my order.

I was so close to not ordering from this website because of the reviews below, but I thought ‘f it’ let me just order and pay through PayPal and worse comes worse I can dispute if I need to. And in all honestly, people only really leave a review here when they’ve had a bad experience as opposed to a good one. I ordered a rug on the 25th Jan for an unbelievable price. I emailed them just to double check the order all went through and a lovely helper called Sam responded within minutes assuring me everything was good to go. I received the rug on the 29th Jan... 4 days! All these reviews that say it took forever or never turned up, that wasn’t my experience at all! Customer service was fab, the rug is beaut (I wish I could attach photos to show you) and looks super expensive and the shipping was so fast I was genuinely surprised. I had a great experience, you might too!

Overstock used to be alright... now it's just trash. The "estimated delivery dates" on product pages are downright fake... Customer service said: "Minimum shipping timeframe is 1-2 business days and 3-6 business days to deliver once the item ships." How tf do they come up with the 2 day estimated delivery date then?? It makes zero sense. The item I bought was an electric snow shovel that I needed ASAP because the NE is getting hit with a lot of snow in the next few days... If I ordered from Homedepot I would have already gotten it today. I even asked to cancel my order and issue a refund, but they said they couldn't because it "shipped"... Bruh a shipping label was created, and the item wasn't even picked up. Why tf can't you cancel my order. It has been that status for 2 days now. Seriously smh. There's really no point in using Overstock anymore given how there are many (better) online retailers are nowadays. JFC.

Horrible customer service. Ordered a bed frame, cancelled shortly after. Trying to charge me $130 to not deliver the item.

If I could give no stars to leave a review I would. I ordered earrings for my daughter’s Christmas present and due to covid and everything taking months I gave them two months before contacting them to find out why they didn’t arrive. Tracking on their site says they were delivered (to an address in the states.. we are in Australia). Customer ‘service’ emailed back saying their terms and conditions state you have 14 days from time of purchase to lodge a claim so there is nothing they can do now... what an absolute crock. Never buy from these thieves and tell everyone you know. At least an Aussie seller would be beholden to buyer protection laws. Me bad.. I now know better after losing $90

I ordered a rug that looked way different than the picture. It was an 85.00 rug and they wanted me to spend 33.00 to send it back. I want to switch from using Amazon so much but they're customer service is second to none. I will never order from overstock again. It's sad there is one less place to go to order anything but Amazon. Ive spoken with customer service twice and they were very rude and disconnected me both times.
