Refund policy violates consumer rights. Ordered a shoe box to match my closet. Mislead by their website. The picture did not match the product that arrived. Did not match. I followed their "worry free buying" promise and returned the item only find out I would only be credited for $43. The unit cost $160. I was told that was their policy. They would not budget. Certainly not worry free buying. No where on the return lable or return email did it say I'd have to pay anything. I will never order from them again and would encourage EVERYONE to avoid them. We have rights as consumers and they don't care. Instead of Worry Free Buying .. be worried! I'm cancelling my credit card with them as well.

The only way this company will change is if people boycott it! Ordered 4 backyard chairs. Two of one kind and two of another arrived - none of them what we ordered. Told we needed to keep the boxes in our garage awaiting pick-up before we could be sent the correct order. Weeks if not months elapsed with my car parked outside. Only after a Twitter Review did O.S. agree to send the correct chairs; still no-pick-up. Eventually told we could donate but only in their name; the pursuit of "only in their name" was relentless. Why this became our problem after months of inconvenience is beyond us. We were offered less than a 10% refund for our troubles. Quite honestly, we're done with OverStock and their affiliated companies.

I ordered a few room dividers for my patio. One of the dividers came defective there are no screws in the hinge and they would not connect to the other divider. I contacted overstock.com and they sent out a replacement. I was fine with this until I was told I would have l would have to put this big divider inside the original box and get it inside my small hatchback car and bring it to the nearest UPS store. If I had an item that was a reasonable size I wouldn't mind taking it to the UPS store to return but this is a big item. They did not assure myself as a customer that this was quality checked before shipping out. The item was cheap and defective and they expect me to injure myself by putting this item in a large box and lifting this into my car. Bad customer service I would not shop at overstock.com in the future. Rather go to Wayfair , much better service.

Packages were not delivered. Tracking says they were delivered. Then a nice person from across town texted me to let me know that they received my packages by error. Now Overstock says its that person's responsibility to open them to see what's inside and report back? What in the world?! So now I'm supposed to give this honest stranger some chores to do, and disrupt their life. Or I can rent a cargo van and drive across town to pick them up myself? That sounds fun. What a joke.

Ordered platform king bed frame! after taking 3 weeks to ship because it was lost between label printing and actual shipment and me having to contact about where shipment is. they had to do a search for it (return) and find it before shipping it again, even though I’ve paid for it and it never left the warehouse! They then ship it! I received it 3 weeks after initial order for it to be missing 3 legs! Now I’ve waited a week for them to check if they have replacement parts which could take up to another….4 weeks to receive!! Never again!! Ridiculous!!!

Bought a lift chair and the extended Warrenty. A year later chair not working called Warrenty in it happened a week prior. Due to me waiting a week to contact the Warrenty company ( 5 days) no claim can be filed.

I STILL cannot believe that my credit card has been charged over $500 for an item I never received! As soon as I placed the order, I realized it was the wrong address, so I immediately called and tried to give them the correct address. I was lied to, told to call UPS myself, which I did and was told only the shipper could change the address, so I called Overstock back and was told it had already shipped, which it had not! Here it is months later and I'm still out over %500!!! Worst customer service ever, plus this is a crime!!

In February 2021 I purchased the Mandy 52 inch 3-light crystal LED ceiling fan with remote by Jonathan Y from Overstock. When it arrived the fan was defective. After contacting Overstock I was sent a new fan. The second fan arrived with missing pieces and only one of three working bulbs. After several communications I was sent the missing pieces, given a small refund and compensated for the bulbs I had to buy. Overstock acted like they were doing me a favor. Unbelievable! Now, 8 months later the fan makes a loud noise on all 3 speeds and cannot be used. I contacted Overstock to request a refund or replacement and I was told they only provide a 30 day warranty. All I can say is the fan is a piece of junk and Overstock couldn't care less that they are peddling cheaply made, defective merchandise. So now I have to purchase a new ceiling fan and pay an electrician to install it. Beware buyers!!!!
