Everything was great except one of the benches has 4 stripped screws but I think it will be ok…wasn’t worth the wait for returning.

I ordered a glass coffee table and when I chose the delivery method, "Standard", nowhere in the page did it say that the delivery would drop off the box (at least 50lbs) in front of my garage door, which is a considerable distance from my front door, which is also higher than ground floor (3 steps up). The delivery service did not announce their drop-off, rang the bell, or knock on my door, so I only found out the box had been delivered when I got in my car, opened the garage door, and nearly ran the box over. Then to boot, I was not able to move it myself to my front porch and up the 3 steps. I had to call 2 neighbors to help me get the box to my door so I could push it in. The main issue here is that this poor delivery method WAS NOT DISCLOSED! had I know this was the method of delivery, I would have made different arrangements or simply gone somewhere else to buy my table. This is dishonest! When I called Overstock.com customer service, after waiting for 28 minutes on the line, the clerk simply said that "Standard" means that the package is just left in your "property". However, it is my experience that "Standard" is usually "ground" and NOT "express", BUT NEVER drop off anywhere in the perimeter of your property. I buy a lot online and this is the first time something like this has happened. So.... buyer beware! If you are buying something from Overstock.com that you think you will not be able to carry yourself from "somewhere in the perimeter of your property" into your house, think twice before you make your purchase.
