My experience with Overnight Smile was frustrating. The aligners did improve my teeth from being quite crowded to "good enough," and they've stayed that way for almost 2 years with regular retainer use, so I wont fault the product itself. The biggest issue was the customer service and constant delays. What was supposed to take around six months ended up taking well over a year. Orders were repeatedly delayed, and I was often told parcels had been shipped when the courier said they hadn't even received them. Trying to get updates was frustrating, and I found customer support dismissive and rude rather than helpful. I also needed additional aligners because I wasn't happy with the first result. They eventually provided them, but after more delays they said my teeth couldn't be moved any further. While I'm reasonably happy with the final outcome, they're not perfect. If you're on a tight budget and have plenty of patience, the aligners can work. Just be prepared for a frustrating process if anything goes wrong. Hopefully their customer service has improved since I used them in 2024-2025. I'd also recommend documenting everything and asking for all communication and promises in writing, just in case you need to refer back to them later.

Much cheaper than other companies but that was only for front teeth straightening. I needed all straightening so didn't go with them after I sent my impression back and they sent their 3D model scan.

Highly recommend users read the terms and conditions. I had an aligner break and asked for it to be remade, I had tried to make it fit but the molar area on one of the aligners was warped. I threw it away and went back to the last set to be told they can only reproduce an aligner if they see the faulty one. At that point, I asked about the guarantee but you have to take daily pictures to qualify. Just make sure you take daily photos if you want the guarantee to stick. I was advised to start again by the customer services person and get a moulding kit. This has unfortunately taken over 10 days to arrive due to logistical issues outside of Overnight Smile’s control. It's a shame, because the aligners were working until the faulty one. Hopefully this time round it will be easier, because I don't really want to spend £3k on Invisalign

Welcome to my review of the overnight smile aligners after completing my journey. I was hesitant because even though this company is cheaper than the other options I explored, the company was an unknown. First, I paid a deposit for the mould kit. By the way, you pay the same fee whether you choose to do one arch or two. You have three tries to complete the mould correctly. My advice concerning the mould is: Don’t rush things. It is an essential part of the process and the basis of your treatment. Follow the instructions in the letter and ensure you are happy with the result. Remember, if you are unsure, call the team and send them a photo if you are uncertain whether your mould is correct. Following the return of the mould, I received a 3D model via email demonstrating what improvements I could expect from the aligners. I was happy to proceed on that basis and received my alligners within two weeks…I think. I did call them to follow up because I was concerned about whether trusting them was a good idea, but the kind staff mollified my fears. All the aligners arrived in the same box, including the retainer you must wear on completion (forever). Keep in mind that anyone who wears braces needs to wear retainers indefinitely. You can buy more retainers from Overnight Smile every six months. Here is my advice concerning the aligners. 1. Wear them every day and night. Don’t take them out unless you are eating/drinking (water exempt). 2. Send the team daily photos. They need to monitor your progress. As the treatment progresses, you might be able to discuss the possibility of weekly updates with them, but this needs to be arranged. 3. I found that some of the aligners dug into my gums a bit, but the kit contained a file for smoothing out these kinds of issues. I did file down less than a millimetre to allow for a better fit, but that was purely because of my gums. 4. Pain will occur as your teeth begin to move, but that is expected. I experienced the most discomfort during the first 2 or 3 days of starting a new pair. Communication. I was allocated one person for all my queries, and communicating with him was easy and informative. Other. Sometimes, I wanted to rush things along and start a new pair early, but it is best not to. I found that as time progressed with one pair, the pain moved from one section to another, suggesting that the target area depended on the duration of wear. So, keep wearing them for two weeks before swapping them for another pair. The aligners are generally easy to keep clean. I alternated between gently cleaning them with a soft toothbrush or rinsing them. My result. I had front teeth that overlapped a bit, so I started this journey hoping to fix this issue. Honestly, I had some self-esteem issues because of my smile. I hid my teeth whenever I could, and smiling on camera was a nightmare. Now, I smile at everyone. There are some things that I would still like to change about my smile, but I know that would require a combination of surgery and metal braces because of crowding. All in all, I am grateful, happy, and satisfied with my result. I would recommend them to other people. UPDATE 1/01/26 Regular replacements of your retainer will be required, but the price keeps increasing from £119 in 2025 to £149 in 2026! At this rate I won't be able to afford replacements. UPDATE: Overnight Smile provided an invoice for £89 to replace my retainer as a "goodwill gesture". Perhaps next time I might shop around for a retainer elsewhere, because I certainly can't afford the steady increase in retainer prices.

When I first placed an order for the kit it came very quickly and I shipped it back within a day. It says it will take 7 days to ship your aligners to you and so far I have waited 21 days (15 working days). The customer service on chat is quick but not consistent as I was told first it would take 7 days, then 7 business days, then 7-10 business days, then another 3+ business days to ship and I still have not received any order updates apart from the "wait 3 more business days" from the chat which always adds on extra days. I received over 9 text messages and over 5 emails when the 3d plan was created and since purchase have received nothing: no contact, texts, emails.my order status hasn't even changed and still says "processing". I will update the review once I've received my aligners and once the process is complete but for now I'm not satisfied.

I am on aligner 4/12 and the product itself does seem very good so far. The customer service is slow and the online chat team can come across as quite rude, although any problems were eventually sorted and it definitely seems worth the money so far!

EDIT: I've been advised that I won't need to pay for another impressions set, if it's needed they'll send one for free. But even if the T&C say the treatment plan is valid for 3 days, it should be clear on the website where the process is outlined or in the FAQ, not hidden in the T&C. Updating to 3 stars due to providing an explanation, but still not clear to customers when ordering that this is the case. It's ridiculous that you only have 3 days after getting your treatment quote to decide whether you want to pay for the treatment or not. If you don't decide within 3 days, you have to pay for another impressions kit and start over again. Especially stupid when you get the quote on a Friday. Why such a short period?!
