Outdoor VitalsWe create high performance ultralight backpacking gear without middlemen or retail markups. When you're headed into the intensity of nature, having high performing ultralight gear is inspiring. It helps you go farther while staying safe and comfortable. It empowers you to go where you haven't gone before.Outdoor Vitals was founded for this purpose. We tenaciously pursue the design of performance ultralight gear and sell it directly to you without the extra fees of investors, middlemen or retail markups so you can spend more time outdoors pushing, learning and growing.By changing from the traditional way of doing business & selling directly to you we cut 40-50% out of the price tag of products sold through retail stores. We then turn around and invest those savings into building a better product so you know when you head to the mountains you have gear with you that is uncompromising in quality and design. Gear that will keep you comfortable and never limit you.We take the harder path of business to better connect you to the Vital Outdoors.

I have ordered several products from Outdoor Vitals, and all have been great. No complaints about shipping or quality control from this guy! My recent order was for my wife who is into hiking for health benefits. She loves the shirt!

Got the new hoodie a couple of days ago. I can't take it off and my wife is beginning to worry. I'm not, cozy as can be.

The Tern hoodie arrived the day I was leaving for a 3 day backpacking trip in Arkansas. The daytime temps ranged from 40 to 60 degrees. It was perfect! The hoodie kept me warm enough midday and protected me from the sun in the afternoon. Super light and cool colors.

The shorts are fairly comfortable, the zipper pocket is too small for my cell phone. I only bought these because of the credit and am not overly thrilled. I love the sun shirts, the wool/synth shirt is itchy, The 100 mile challenge was disappointing.

Customer service was terrible. In trying to return a purchase, it took numerous emails and numerous attempts at trying to reach them by phone, and then having to make an "appointment" to receive a phone call from a human. Not worth all the hassle.

Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience. Our support team has been stretched thin, but you may be interested to know that we are in the process of rearranging some things in Customer Support so that we can more easily take phone calls in real time. We hope you consider working with us again!
