Allan, the Otter team representative who responded to my email requesting assistance was critical in guiding me through the process of changing the email address associated with my Otter business account. Anyone who has been through this process understands the pain associated with transitioning business email addresses. Alan made sure I had everything in order before he signed off. Originally, I was drawn to Otter.ai for transcribing class lectures. Overall, it seems like a really cool concept and I wish I had the opportunity to test it out for a longer period of time. Unfortunately, both the basic plan and the pro plan did not suit my needs. While the policy is clear about no returns, I reached out to basically beg for my money back so I could purchase the product I need. I spoke received a response within 24 hours from Agni Leiva (at Otter.ai) and they agreed to refund me for the full amount.

The platform is great to use, and I had a good overall experience with my annual plan. There was a billing error; I emailed the support team, and Junnior fixed it in less than a day, who was very professional and friendly.

Ricardo answered my numerous emails quickly and responded patiently when I didn't initially understand a billing issue. I was also given a refund after explaining that I had accidentally signed up for the wrong plan. Great service. Thank you Ricardo.

Update: Customer service reached out and promptly fixed the matter. It changed my view and I updated this from 1 star to 5. ----- Signed up for 7-day free trail. Requested to cancel. Was charged before the free trial even ended! Timeline: Signed up OCT 10th. Request to cancel on OCT 12th. Charged $240 on OCT 15th. Feedback: If you actually thought that you had a useful product you wouldn't make people put down their card when they sign up for the free trail. You would let them sign up for the free trail and then when the trail expires, if your product wasn't BS, they would go back onto your website and consent to sign up for the plan that works for them. Like seriously, you must think your own product is BS. You don't believe it is useful and you need to relay on people's forgetfulness to make money. *rolling my eyes at the business model* If you refund me I will delete all my negative feedback. If not I will review you 1 star on every platform I can find.

Maryia helped me with a billing issue swiftly and very quick to provide me with the refund. I am very grateful and thankful for her help!
