I love how Otter makes taking minutes for meetings EASY as the AI picks up each person correctly. Sometimes I do have to edit the person(s) conversation and the ending/beginning of the next person(s) conversation, but overall Otter is PERFECT! I also LOVE how Otter is able to summarize the meeting with adding "to-do" tasks! The only negative thing is that the "FREE" subscription only allows for 30 minutes when most "meetings' take 1 hour (60 minutes).

ITS WAS VERY USEFULL AND HELPFUL

I used Otter for interviews for my Uni research paper and was sceptical. However, I'm surprised by how accurate it is, even for people with heavy accents it picks up 80% of the conversation. The best, best, best part was being able to link it within a Teams meeting, and normal calls and have a pretty decent transcription! Its audio picking capability is remarkable because, I used the loudspeaker audio on my laptop to transcribe on my phones Otter app. It was a few free import audio to transcription options which is wonderful. It also gives each transcription files, a list of keywords that were used, which is rather convenient. The file sorting systems could be a little more user friendly and £17 for a months subscription can be a bit too much for me, however it does have numerous features. I'd definitely recommend it, saves a ton of time! This review is provided as a part of a promotion from Otter, but I mean everything I said. Otter.ai is the first meeting assistant I use. I have not used all of the available features yet but I am happy to have access to transcriptions without taking notes. It saves time and allows more verbal interactions and focus during meetings.

Nonetheless, the provision of three free recording transcriptions is a valuable feature, allowing flexibility, as you can have your own recordings transcribed as well(covering the need for transcription for the remaining minutes of the recording). The user-friendly interface, intuitive navigation, and seamless collaboration tools enhance productivity significantly. The app's ability to recognize multiple speakers is also super helpful. A standout feature is Otter.ai's option to automate joining meetings, streamlining the transcription process further and making it an ideal choice for professionals and teams. I attend project meetings where i have to capture every conversation and this Ai tool has made my work so easy to the extent that I can skip meetings and get a summary of the conversations and action points where i got mentioned. I love it in all aspects.

Learning how to use otter.ai has been amazing. The company is doing well with the quick responses, answering questions and giving great ideas. I'm still new at it and playing around to see what is the advantages. I would refer family amd friends to use otter.ai

Used Otter.ai to transcribe interviews for research. Cut the time spent transcribing by more than half. Generally very accurate. Have recommended to friends and would use again. Best feature is where you can click on a word in the transcription and the audio will play from there.
