Really good for experience

It is an extremely good tool for saving time. Most of the time I use it to make reports, event summaries or documents on the go. Especially when traveling or in order to save time. It also enables me to get summaries of calls when I need them and speed up communication with my teams.

I use Otter AI in order to record my lectures. I’m currently in nursing school, and this software helps me and not only recording what my professor says throughout the lecture, but also summarizes it and gives me key points. This is very helpful because sometimes the professor talks a little fast so I can’t write everything down and Otter AI helps me go back and pick up on concepts that I might have missed.

Otter.ai is amazing. I am the clerk of a small parish meeting in North Yorkshire, England. One parish resident is always difficult and argues about the minutes and agreed-upon actions. Otter.ai recorded our meeting, and we now have accurate minutes and an action list and can look at everything that was said. No more arguments. It is a great way to move from words to action.

I mainly leverage meeting summary and real-time transcription functionalities while it's been integrated into MS Outlook and Teams. It has been a seamless experience so far. Though it misses the mark on name recognition, I think this is a very intuitive and powerful tool that helps me demonstrate active listening during calls.

I needed to transcribe an audio file and format it into a written summary, so one of my colleagues suggested looking into the transcription services provided by Otter.ai. I immediately noticed that the site was easy to navigate and how easy it was to locate the audio file transcript option, upload the file, and wait for it to finish transcribing. The only drawback to using the audio transcription tool is that it sometimes incorrectly transcribes certain words due to differences in people's accent or dialect. I have used Otter.ai twice in the past 3 months to transcribe audio and video files, and each written transcript was easy to read and edit if necessary. I plan to use Otter.ai to transcribe any audio or video file of discussions, lectures, or meetings that I need written transcripts of in the future, and I recommend it to anyone that needs audio or videos files quickly transcribed and converted to written form. I've been using otter ai for group mastermind meetings that I lead. This way attendees don't have to take their own notes. I share the summary after and we all can follow-up on the action items listed out. I especially like the bullet point format and that it's not a running transcript that is too overwhelming to be useful for notes.

I uploaded a 17-minute recorded interview and had an accurate transcript and summary within a few minutes! This was an incredible time saver - I probably saved several hours of transcribing and coding the interview.
