I've only used Otter for a short time, but I already love it. It's very easy to use and the summaries and action points it provides are superb. Highly recommended!

I'm a journalist and the otter.ai platform allows me to get more done on a daily basis because of it's ability to accurately transcribe speech to text. The platform literally shaves hours off my work by transcribing. The summary aspect is also very helpful as it picks out the main points and focus areas leaving more time for other work to be done. The platform is also easy to use and affordable.

I love Otter.ai! I came across this software before the advent of team meetings, and I found it to be remarkable. I initially used it to transcribe my thoughts as a podcaster, which I could later refine into a script. Additionally, I've used it to record conversations and interviews. Recently, I've started inviting Otter.ai to all my team meetings because it helps capture what people actually say. For example, there was a recent incident where we all believed a commercial opportunity was worth pursuing after a meeting. However, when we read the transcript, it became clear that one participant explicitly stated they would not be using outside resources and could handle everything internally. This realization led us to clarify the situation with the client, who ultimately admitted they were not interested in using external resources and were simply fishing for information. It saved us a lot of time and effort. The summary function and the ability to analyze scripts using AI make this software excellent. I often use it to summarize hours of conversations and find that, out of maybe two hours of discussion, only two or three points are truly important or require action. It saves so much time! I cannot recommend this software enough, and it has become an indispensable tool in my daily life.

One of those rare companies that actually deliver what they promise. They are constantly evolving and improving their service (I can see the quality and accuracy of the transcripts improving over time). I use them to turn my videos and podcasts into transcripts for captions and blog posts.
