I have had an Otter.ai account for 3 years, I find it great to record ideas at night that loop in my head and prevent me from sleeping. Recording to otter I get to save the idea and then look back in the morning and choose whether it was a good idea or not. Its great in meetings to record with permission so that I can be 100% present and engage with the presenter knowing that I will have notes after it. In different formats so that I can provide myself with the best resource of knowledge.

The fact that I'm able to take everything my supervisors talked about my project, including detailed action points, during our meeting via Otter.ai, it's just amazing!

This is very helpful software. It takes notes, summarizes them, and then you can play back the original audio or a specific portion of that audio file.

Otter was a great tool to use in law school. Instead of having to furiously take notes in class I was able to fully involve myself in the discussion. With the summarization tool the notes were basically taken for me and I could then just spend time organizing them the way I wanted. Just an amazing tool. Please note I did receive an incentive from Otter for this review, however this is an honest reflection of my use and experience.
