Otter.aiReviews of otter.ai

I love working with Otter.ai It's so easy, accurate, and makes recording conversations a breeze. I am so grateful for this technology and platform. It's a must-have for any storyteller or journalist.

We love Otter! It has enabled us to provide summaries, action items, and audio chapters for all our content! This was something we could not do manually because of the content duration and frequency. Instead, with one person we are able to produce the content of a huge team. Same applies to all our meetings! In the past we could only provide action items via a dedicated person. Now everyone can participate and Otter generates the action items and summaries. I cannot stress how our productivity has soared thanks to Otter!

Such a time saver but most importantly Otter allows meeting participants to focus on the meeting vs who said what, when. TY Otter.ai👍

Being a forensic psychologist I record my consults using otter. It is extremely accurate and useful. New features keep being added further enhancing the functionality and utility. I have recommended to many colleagues and friends who find it equally useful. I have been using otter Pro since 2022 and find it invaluable.

I love Otter. It helps me with summarizing my meetings with clients and internal meetings. I have been using it for a few years as a recruiter and it saves me hours a day. It's allowed me to just focus on the conversations instead of if I am capturing everything as I did for years before by transcribing during the meeting.

I utilized Otter.ai to transcribe a sermon that was previously recorded. I was very pleased with the accuracy of the message, with the exception of scripture references. This is minor to me in transcription. I also like the summary feature and action items. This helps for future series or ideas of the main points within the sermon. Otter.ai gave me the ability to add to the action items, such as a task or note list. Otter.ai is an excellent choice for clergy or public presenters who require audio transcription.

I've had Otter.ai for a few years now and I have to say it's a must if one needs to transcribe and keep meeting notes. It also has an added bonus of saving my hands and helping me deal with arthritis that has increasingly made it difficult for me to type at full speed with few breaks like I used to. Now I can utilize the recording and transcription features and it really helps keep me productive at the same level I've always had. And this program is intuitive - i.e. the more one uses it the better it gets. It's also much more affordable and user friendly than other programs I've tried in the past, so what's not to love? Please note I did receive an incentive from Otter for this review, however this is an honest reflection of my use and experience.

It was easy to use for transcribing a lecture I liked, plus the few mistakes doe to the sound quality were easy to pinpoint and fix. I also liked liked the summary feature of Otter.ai which is very handy in making reports and bullet pointing a long talk.
