Cancelled subscription 1 year ago, as didn't use much and there are ample of better alternatives. Suddenlty got billed again. No notice about cancelling. Cancelled again - needed 5 CLICKS!!! to confrim, that I really want this. No notice on e-mail or anything. Wanted to disconnect credit card. No option. Deleted account. Logged in with another user with the using the SAME DOMAIN NAME - otter suggested, that I join with the earlier account of "my company" - NB! It should have been deleted. Not sure, how to get rid of the company and the subscription. Turned to bank to block further payments. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Seriously!

Support does not respond to account enquiries. Unethical business practise. Bad to average transcription. Avoid.

Very poor. I paid for the Pro service and not received it. They keep asking me to upgrade to Pro even though I paid. No reply from their support team. Do not use.

I tried this tool as a test, but decided I didn't want it. I have since deleted the account, but the tool is still automatically joining my online meetings, even if I'm not attending a meeting it joins and emails notes to the entire company, which is highly embarrassing. I've asked Otter for help but have received nothing from them.

While Otter.ai can be super helpful for transcribing meetings, I've noticed it sometimes makes mistakes in its summaries. This might not seem like a big issue, but in my experience, the mistakes were significant and potentially very dangerous, especially when it comes to critical decisions or sensitive discussions. If you're relying on Otter.ai for accurate records, be aware that these errors could lead to serious misunderstandings or miscommunications. For this reason, I personally would not recommend using this software without thorough review and verification of the outputs. The tool has potential, but its inaccuracies make it unreliable for situations where precision matters most.

Otter.ai automatically join meetings even after I de-activated auto-join. It joined my company's internal meeting without my permit. That will kill you job.

Pay $100 a year and still cant get a transcript. This is probably the worst tool for AI note taking you can buy. First thing is the meeting bots constantly leave and you have to have them rejoin all the time. It really hurts a meeting cadence to have to pause to get the note taker working again. Second thing is if you record over 90m they ask you to pay over $1000 USD to get the recording over $90. Third thing is the AI note take does not use google to determine who is speaking so you have to manually go in and tag every person talking,. They CLAIM it gets better over time but I spend about 20-25m aftyer every session tagging the speakers that otter was unable to figure out. I used tldv for work and made a horrible mistake to purchase this assuming it was just as good. IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO ITS COMPETITIORS. OTTER IS A TOTAL SCAM that constantly makes up weird limitations and will even change those limitations in the middle of your transcription. Further they don't even warn you at 90m, they just extort you for the final few minutes later. Tech gets an F for being unable to identify users even after multiple meetings and hours manually tagging them. Company itself gets an F for extrotingh me for my own transcription data EVEN AFTER PAYING FORE THE SERVICE as they are dishonest and incompetent. Nothing good to say about this POS company or software. SKIP~!

Paid for the service but can't access my transcripts - probably some technical glitch. There's no human consultant to speak with, only an AI bot. They don't care about their users at all.
