My 12 year old son and I have traveled extensively all over the world, and we’ve had many incredible trips to many beautiful destinations...but we came back from our trip to Egypt, planned by Mahmoud of Osiris, saying this was the BEST trip we’ve ever been on...hands down!!!! From the moment we landed in Cairo, we were greeted there at the airport by Mohammed, as he stood there smiling with a sign with our name on it. From that moment, he took care of everything in the airport and sped us through the customs process, getting our luggage and into a waiting van ready to whisk us away to our hotel. Every detail was planned for and every nuance anticipated with care. The next morning, we were picked up and taken back to the airport and once again personally walked through the process to board the flight, this time for Aswan. Mohammed even managed to get us all an upgrade to business class!!! Flights were perfectly planned and we were always met right when we landed and brought right to the security check points. Hotels were beautiful and we loved the Nile cruise. But the very best part of the entire trip was our AMAZING guide, Sam. He just made this trip for us as he was SO knowledgeable, but beyond that, he was funny and flexible and after the first 15 mins, it was as though he was just a part of our group. When Sam would leave us at the end of the day, we would actually be sad to see him go and look forward to seeing him the next morning. The reason I would absolutely recommend Osiris, beyond Sam, is Mahmoud. You will not find anyone more responsive than he is, when it comes to answering questions about your tour package, adding something to the trip...even when you’re in the middle of it. He was so accommodating every single time I reached out to him, that he was almost too good to be true!!! If you need a tour company, THIS is the one!!

We had an amazing six day tour with Osiris Tours! Everything went according to plan. We had help getting us through all the airports. Ahmed and Hala, our guides, were amazing. We learned so much from both of them. The Sonesta Nile River cruise was fantastic. I would recommend to visit Egypt and to book with Osiris Tours. You will not regret it!

We have just returned from an incredible two week journey in Egypt and would go back in a heartbeat! Our time was spent in Luxor, Aswan, a Nile Cruise and Cairo. We used Zicasso last year to connect us with a tour operator in India and had such a positive experience we used them again to match us with a tour operator in Egypt. And once again it was an outstanding experience! From our first communications with this tour company we knew that they would be the perfect fit for planning a custom private tour in Egypt. I was very impressed with their responsiveness and attention to detail. They put together the perfect itinerary based on our expectations and our first visit to Egypt. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this travel company for anyone who wants to have a great experience as they explore Egypt. If you are considering going don't put it off go now. We felt so safe and so welcomed in this beautiful country. The cultural exchange and generous, heartfelt hospitality of the Egyptian people cannot be overstated. Everyones efforts made our trip stress free, fun and educational. We were very pleased with our accommodations throughout our stay. Our drivers and transportation were top notch. Everyone throughout the trip were very punctual which we greatly appreciate. Our Nile cruise was fantastic and a great way to travel from Luxor to Aswan and hit some of the highlights along the way. The staff in the hotels and on the cruise were very professional and friendly. We were so very fortunate to have the same Egyptologist for our entire tour. Essam "Sam" made our first experience in Egypt so special and most memorable! He is very knowledgeable about his country and ancient Egyptian history. Sam has a way of bringing all this rich history and culture to life and making it so interesting and fun as you tour all the must see sites. Everyday was a new adventure!!

Osiris organised a private 12 day trip to Egypt and Jordan. They were fantastic, very punctual and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Sam (Aswan to Luxor) and Amir in Cairo, they made the trip fun and interesting. I wish we had had the same drivers when we were in one city as this made tipping very hard to keep up with. Mena House hotel in Cairo is a must! We stayed 2 nights in Petra an for an extra $10 extended our pass into a two day pass, this is a must. Thank you so much Osiris for making this trip unforgettable.

I typically enjoy organizing our own vacations, but for Egypt, I felt the need to go with a tour company, and I'm very thankful I did. Travel logistics can be a bit challenging in Egypt, so I definitely recommend hiring a company to handle everything. Osiris Tours has assembled an amazing team to efficiently, and safely, move your family or group around Egypt!! I spent a lot of time comparing the various tour companies, and I believe I chose the best with Osiris Tours. The entire process, from initial correspondence to our final airport drop-off, everything went smoothly. Mahmoud, the owner, was a fantastic communicator... he promptly answered all my questions, and put together an amazing 10 day tour for our group of 8 (even with some very specific requests!). Sam was with us through most of our trip, and he was GREAT!! He was extremely knowledgable, funny, enthusiastic, and very polite. He felt more like a friend who was excited to show us around his country. Thanks Sam, we couldn't have asked for a better host!!! Some other specific things I would recommend: Abu Simbel (worth it!!), The Mena House in Cairo. The tombs of Seti I and Nefertari (expensive, but if they're open, they're very impressive). Nile cruise is a must. And bring (or exchange) a lot of small bills (either USD or LE). The tipping is just crazy, so be prepared. Overall, it was an incredible vacation, and I'm very thankful for Osiris Tours, especially given all the moving parts (3 flights, 6 airport transfers, and a nile cruise). Thanks again Mahmoud!!

Osiris Tours and Mahmoud Gebril made Egypt and Jordan come alive for us. Every detail was seamlessly arranged from tour guides and drivers, airport transfers to hotel accommodations. Our 14 day sojourn in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan via a Nile cruise was steeped in ancient history come alive via the words of Mohammed our redoubtable guide. Dina, our guide in Cairo walked us through the Museum and Citadel armed with a masters in Egyptian history. An unforgettable few days in Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea was the icing on the cake. Do allow Mahmoud to plan your journey to the land of the Pharaohs. It is a magical land and you will not regret his advice and plans. Kavita.

The tour was well planned and organized. We had a personal family tour including Luxor, Aswan, About-Simbel, Abidos, Dendera, Cairo. Every day was full of sight seeings with good explanations by a tour guide. Also it wasn't too much, so we had time for evenings. The Nile boat ("Farah") tour - 4 days gave us great view, quiet time on the sun deck and perfect Turkish coffee. We chose December month as it is not too hot in Egypt. In About-Simbel - the most south point - it was +30C. In Cairo +22C, we had to put on jackets. We took hot air balloon in Luxor - unforgettable experience. It can be cancelled if it is too windy. We had to try it 2 times as the first morning it was cancelled. And next one it was ok. All temples, tombs, etc. were well shown by the tour guides. We had sufficient free time to look around, take pictures. I would like to thank our tour guides (Ahmed Fathy and Mostafa Elkafrawy) for true efforts to accommodate our needs, energy to answer all out questions and flexibility. We followed all their recommendations and did not regret. Special thank to the tour organizer and founder - Mahmoud Gabril. There were couple times situations when we needed tour details clarifications and hotel reservation issues sorting out. Mahmoud immediately resolved them - that was very important for us as a family and did not interrupt our tour experience. It is safe in Egypt. We did not have any issues related to safety. Egyptians are very friendly and welcoming all tourists. I recommend this tour.

I just spent 10 wonderful days in Egypt courtesy of Osiris Tours. I have got to say this was the best tour I have ever been on. Everything went like clockwork. From the time I landed in Cairo and was met by the efficient Mohammed who made my entry into Egypt a charm and took me to a hotel after 17 hours in the air. I then took a plane to Luxor where I was met by Sayed, possibly the best guide in the world! He was knowledgeable, interesting, and made sure I was comfortable at all the venues. I am in my 70s and needed to rest periodically and he was careful to make sure I didn’t trip over the uneven ground. As an anthropologist, I was impressed by his explanation of the sculptures, carvings, and the fact that he could interpret the hieroglyphs. I broke a cap on my front tooth in Luxor and he found a dentist at 8 pm at night and sat with me in the office, thus saving what was a horrible situation. The trip down the Nile on the Sonesta Moon Goddess was lovely, sitting on the balcony outside my room and watching the Egyptian countryside go by. The service and food were wonderful. Even going through the locks at Aswan was an adventure. Once back in Cairo my guide was Mona, a lovely and knowledgeable woman who was an anthropologist like me and took me on a tour of the Cairo Museum, a once in a lifetime experience made better by her narration. She also introduced me to a favorite Egyptian dish, Koushary..the food of the gods. On my last day, I saw the pyramids and the Sphinx and several tombs. I must thank all the drivers too, especially the ones in Cairo. I am so glad I decided on Osiris tours and would recommend them unreservedly both for their services which are top drawer and their guides, who are the finest. The accommodations were the best hotels and great food. Usually one of the problems with tours is you end up waiting for drivers and/or accommodations. Not so with Osiris. The owner Mahmoud Gebril gives you an itinerary beforehand as well as help with travel insurance and airlines. The only thing left for you to do is enjoy the wonder that is Egypt..the temples, the tombs, the people.
