We had the great pleasure of traveling to Egypt for 14 days from mid to late March 2018. We were accompanied by an outstanding guide, Ahmed, from Osiris tours. The entire trip was built with the help of Osiris tours founder, Mahmoud Gebril. We worked with Mahmoud several months in advance of our departure to figure out a trip that would allow us to see many spectacular sights from Cairo to Alexandria to ask one and Luxor. My husband and I were traveling with my 83-year-old mother. This was a trip of a lifetime for all three of us. Our guide made sure that we paced ourselves comfortably, while seeing everything that was on our travel itinerary. he was always on the ready with cold water, chewing gum and Kleenex! In addition to being a highly knowledgeable guide and expert Egyptologist, Ahmed possessed wonderful sense of humor and was a delightful travel companion during our two weeks in Egypt. In Addition to leading us to breathtaking archaeological sites such as the valley of the kings and queens and the temples of Karnak, Dendra, and Komombo, he also led us to several wonderful shopping spots including an aromatherapy establishment in Luxor, a Galabia shop in Cairo, and several high quality jewelry stores in every city we visited. We even went to store in Luxor which created hand carved alabaster pieces. We would highly recommend Ahmed no matter what the length of your trip is. Among our many trip highlights was taking a three day cruise up the Nile on the lovely Sonesta St George from Aswan to Luxor. The boat was small, the food was delicious, accommodations were lovely and service was outstanding. We were invited to attend a Galabia party and to watch a Nubian dance. We also visited a Nubian village and market which possessed every spice one could imagine! Osiris tours attended to every detail and made travel from start to finish a breeze.. Overall, our trip was exactly what we had hoped for and we would recommend Osiris tours without any reservation.

This trip was one expertly planned and beautifully executed adventure after another. Even though we were looking forward to it we never imaged how much fun Egypt was going to be. Everything was first class, we always had an airport representative, wonderful drivers with clean cars, cold water, air conditioning and the hotels/cruise were amazing. We visited three countries and we felt the safest and most welcome in Egypt. My mother is partially wheelchair bound and everywhere we went people asked if they could help her or just jumped right in to get her wheelchair out of a rut. The kindness is unparalleled. Our favorite part of the trip was our guide Sayed, he stayed with us our entire trip and became part of the family. He made this trip so special, words are not adequate to express our gratitude for him. He wheeled my mother all over every site partly I think so we could enjoy the sites without worry but mostly because that is the kind of gentlemen he is. We never had to worry about where her chair was, he had everything handled and if she had to stay behind for something he stayed with her and was just as wonderful as the site she missed. He made sure she missed very little. This was the last family trip my mom will be able to take and the owner of Osiris Tours Mahmoud and our guide Sayed made it a trip we will never forget.

Our recent trip to Egypt was most incredible through Osiris Tours! From start to finish, the whole experience was worthwhile. Mahmoud, President of Osiris Tours, was extremely prompt with his responses during the planning of the trip. He connected us with an excellent guide in Egypt, Sayed. He was extremely knowledgeable with Egyptian history during our visit to Giza, Luxor, Aswan, and Cairo. Sayed was magnificent as a person as he made sure our needs were met to our satisfaction (dietary restrictions and non-smoking rooms). In fact, his efforts were met beyond our expectations! Sayed remained our guide throughout our trip, even though we visited multiple cities. This was unlike some of our previous travels, where we had multiple guides in multiple cities. Sayed introduced us to a world of kind, friendly, and compassionate people...the people of Egypt. He also made sure we experienced the taste of wonderful Egyptian cuisine such as falafels, bread, and grilled fish. The hotel accommodations, including the Mena House with views of the Pyramids and the Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan with breathtaking views of the Nile River, were all excellent! The staff at each hotel made sure our stay was great by addressing our needs. We always try to include special and memorable activities for each of our world travels. For those out there who are considering an adventure to Egypt, be sure to include at least one camel ride (like one near the Great Pyramids at sunset), a hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings, and a felucca ride in Aswan on the Nile River. Please also know that Egypt is safe! Not once during our two-week trip did we feel we were in danger, not once! Life is short. From the first contact with Osiris to putting us on a plane at the end of our tour, the service and execution were flawless. Osiris set up a private seven day tour that included guides in Luxor/Nile Cruise/Aswan/Cairo, interior air, Nile cruise, and hotels. All were outstanding. The best thing about Osiris is there responsiveness. When I had a question and called but the line was busy, Mahmoud would immediately call back even if I didn't leave a message. Egypt is safe to travel as there are local and military guards everywhere. The one thing that surprised us was the amount of tipping that is expected. Osiris give us guide lines but there is extra tipping for taking pictures in the tombs, antiquities guards, boat driver, etc. I had no problems with the tipping because the recipients were friendly, courteous and appreciated the tip. Just take extra cash for the tips. Now is the time to go before the tourists rediscover Egypt. If you go, ask to have Sayed Brazuka and Samah Syed as guides (both outstanding.) Sayed Brazuka took us to some outstanding shops to buy locally made items. They were a gold shop, a alabaster shop, and a carpet shop. All were first class. We bought special remembrance items at the gold shop and alabaster shops (all took credit cards.)

We usually travel without tour companies because of the adventure of it all. Because of our short time in Jordan and because we wanted to know about the history of the sights in Egypt, we searched for a tour company who will provide us with a private driver and guide. Mahmoud Gebril was very prompt in responding to all our questions building an itinerary. He would even tell me when he thinks we should cut out a few things rather than add them which I was very grateful for during the trip. He even helped us store some carry on luggages on a stopover to Cairo so we can be free of extra bags in Luxor! We started in Jordan where we spent 5 days seeing Amman, Petra, Wādī Rum and the Dead Sea with the best guides, airport help, and the best driver Mohammed. They truly took great care of us, even taking us to Aqaba just to check out this seaside town and get the best shawarma. We then flew to Luxor to start our time in Egypt. Our guide was Ahmed Fathy who taught us the incredible history of his people. We spent 3 days in Luxor seeing incredible temples, tombs, and learning about alabaster and papyrus art. Ahmed would even make time if we wanted to go back to a store if we changed our mind! It felt like our cousins were showing us around in Egypt rather than a tour company. We then explored Aswan for 4 days through a Nile River Cruise and flew to Abu Simbel for a day to see Ramses II temples. Ahmed was mostly with us throughout the trip but when he was not, he would text us telling us when our other guide/driver is coming, taking care of us and ensuring us every step of the way. Finally we flew to Cairo which Ahmed prepared us well for. He made our dreams of seeing the pyramids come true and took us places he loved in Cairo - restaurant he and his wife go to, and museum he loved next to a mosque we were visiting. Again, Ahmed is more of a knowledgeable cousin. He truly loves his job and it shows. His pride in his culture and people is infectious. I just hope whoever is reading this gets him as a guide because he truly made our trip magical. Egypt is safe!!!! Yes, there are military people ensuring safety and there are issues like any other city, but Osiris tours will keep you safe, and will fuel a love affair with Jordan and Egypt to last a lifetime. A wonderful experience. Am delighted we chose orisis tours, they, at all times, did a great job for us. It was a complicated trip, we really needed their help and they were there at all times for us. We felt very safe. I would certainly choose them again.

Without the guided tour, we would not have enjoyed our journey as much as we did. It was essentially worry free tour that was safe, educational and fun!! Learned so much about Egyptian mythology and how intelligent and artistic people were back 5000 years ago. Four Seasons stay was first rate. Sam was an excellent guide with depth of knowledge and experience. The only recommendation would be to provide more specific tip guidance and give specific examples with $ ranges. We were always discussing when to give and what to give. If possible, would be good to even include all tipping to make it all inclusive. Highly recommend to others. I already recruited a friend of mine in Australia to go with Osiris for trip to Egypt.

The service from Mahmoud from Osiris Tours, and his team in Egypt, was superb throughout. We felt safe and welcome at all times! Flawless planning and never any issue with our arrangements from the moment we stepped off the plane in Cairo and saw the sign with our name on it. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and Mahmoud arranged for a special something at every hotel where we stayed. These memories will live forever in our hearts. It's hard to single out any one person as every guide, driver, greeter, etc was first class, but must give a special shout out to our guide Assam (Sam) in Luxor and Aswan. His enthusiasm was infectious, and his love of his job and willing to spend hours teaching us to read cartouches and to identify the various gods and pharaohs will never be forgotten. Highlights were those sites a little off the beaten path: Abu Simbel, Dendera and especially Abydos where we had the magnificent temple of Seti I to ourselves for several hours. All the superlatives and cliches do not do Egypt justice. Magnificent country made all the more special by the people. My husband and I have travelled extensively and were blown away by the personal service, attention to detail and Mahmoud's willingness to work with us to arrange a wonderful trip that suited us so well.
