I had found OriginPC through a youtuber gamer I follow and, in need of an update for a gaming laptop, I thought I would give them a go. Ordered through their website an EON17-Xv2 with a few add-ons. Layout of the website is excellent and easy to use, with good descriptions of the possible combinations to add to your build. Laptop was built and shipped on schedule and arrived on time (about 11 days in total from initial ordering to receiving). Customer support kept me informed at each stage. Arrived well packed (but not in a wooden crate as description of unpacking implied). Computer is built solidly: casing seems strong and I expect that the hinges won't break as readily as my Lenovos have suffered in the past. Slight issue on ordered software not shipping, but quickly dealt with by Systems support and software arrived a few days later. Everything set up easy.

Corsair Origin one i500 arrived very quickly. Configured as expected, simple setup, crazy quite!

Super communicative, took a while to get my PC to ship BUT they sent emails every step of the way so I knew what was going on. Haven't received pc yet as it just shipped but im confident that the packaging is sufficient (wooden crate)

Every time I spoke with a representative they responded ASAP with useful information.

During business hours when I had an issue configuring the machine I was buying to pay for it, someone always got back to me. They provided me with details all along the way. Financing with origin can be tricky, but it's well worth the entire process! What a great company!

UPDATE: My concerns were not addressed. It took Origin PC months to send me a replacement cooler, only for the replacement cooler to also be faulty on installation. This has been a nightmare Terrible and unqualified support. Purchase date: 5/15/2023 Shipped: 5/31/2023 I initially called Origin support 6/13/24 to Determine the cause of a recent computer shut down. Separately, the CPU temp was suddenly idling at 50C when it used to idle at 33C. The support said it was completely normal for the computer to idle at that higher temperature. I told them the fan was breathing increasingly hard with no applications open and they simply adjusted the fan curve so that the fan wouldn't engage until it was at a higher temp. I've only had my computer for a year, I bought the computer exactly a year ago and rarely use it but they suggested i needed to get the thermal paste reapplied to the CPU because it often wears off. Fast forward 1 month to 7/17/24, I reached out to their support again, and spoke with an entirely separate representative. This representative also said its completely normal for the computer to idle in that temp range, and suggested I really don't have anything to worry about until it gets to 90C. They turned off some warning settings in BIOS and adjusted the fan curve again and said I should be totally fine. Never said anything about having a faulty cooling system whatsoever. Then, my computer shut off and would not start again at all. I decided to hire a third party computer specialist, who immediately diagnosed the problem. I had a faulty liquid cooler and I was essentially running the computer without a cooler for some time, which could have done serious damage to the computer. The heat actually ended up burning the memory stick closest to the CPU. While I appreciate that Origin eventually reached out, nobody cared to solve my problem until I left this review originally. I ultimately had to pay for a new cooling system and labor to install out of my pocket ($300). When someone finally reached out and essentially offered to give a free accessory and assist with the cooling system/memory warranty processes, I had already spent the $300, neither of their customer service reps cared to help. They offered me a free accessory which I didn't feel was a satisfactory resolution to my issue. ***Buy at your own risk. Representatives give unqualified advice that could potentially prove harmful for your device. I ordered a custom $5800 PC including monitor and accessories on 5/13/24 with an estimated ship date of 6/12/24. It finally shipped on 6/20/24 after some production delay. Not a big deal. I received some of the accessories on 6/22/24 and the tower on 6/24/24. I notified them that there was no monitor and was told they would look into it. On 6/26/24 I was told that due to an "internal error" the monitor was never shipped and that it was in stock and will ship some time between 6/26 and 6/28, and that I'll be notified and sent a tracking number when it does. By 6/29 I had not heard from them so I sent an email asking for an update. As of 7/1/24 I've yet to hear back from them. As for the PC itself, it's nice so far, but not worth this headache of a shopping experience. Had previously bought a PC and laptop from them without any problems, but that was before their acquisition by Corsair.
