Shocking state of bean seedlings…
Shocking state of bean seedlings although in an excellently packed box. Climbing Cobra seedlings bulging out of the tiny containers, and really yellow/brown leaves! Runner bean seedlings equally poorly, but lanky and broken stems.Lost several of both types. However have planted in good compost and hopefully they may recover! My earlier homegrown seedlings are properly green, stocky and healthy. Intended to share yours with other people, so VERY disappointed. After vegetable gardening from age 9 to my present 82 years and REALLY shocked that these seedlings were sent out, by your normally reliable standards.

We're truly sorry to hear about the disappointing condition of your bean seedlings, especially given your many years of gardening experience and your past trust in our service. It’s clear from your comments that the plants you received fell far short of the healthy, vigorous standard we aim to deliver. While we’re pleased to hear the packaging was sound, it's unacceptable that the seedlings arrived yellowing, leggy and damaged. This may have been due to delays in transit or unsuitable growing-on conditions prior to dispatch, but either way, we understand how frustrating it must be—particularly when you intended to share the plants with others. Sadly there are no order details linked to your review so we are unable to look into this further straight away. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you haven’t already done so—we truly value your long-standing custom and are committed to restoring your confidence in us. Kindest regards, Meg.
