I have had the tented safety glasses for about 4 months and they broke in half. I contacted the company and they said it’s outside the warranty window and offered 30 percent of another pair. I replied if your quality is this bad I want buy anything else. They responded with 40 percent of. The glasses were not dropped or damaged it’s just crap quality!

Updated review July 2026. After a promising start (see original review) sadly I feel I have no option but to change my 5 star rating... The frame on my sunglasses around one of the lenses snapped after 6 weeks. Optical factor customer services have responded but ultimately won't help at all. After a few messages the answer was the glasses are out of warranty, but you can order a replacement frame (at standard price with me paying postage). So essentially no help whatsoever. So my advice now is the same as almost every other reviewer's i.e avoid. I didn't read reviews before ordering a pair of prescription sunglasses from Optical Factor. Once I read reviews, I feared the worst. However, my prescription polaroid sunglasses arrived to my home in the UK yesterday about 2 weeks after ordering. They feel really well made. The prescription is correct. They fit well and the lenses seem good quality. So, for under £80, I feel they are a good buy. Time will tell if they last, but so far so good. After reading a lot of negative reviews I am pleasantly surprised and impressed. Maybe I've been lucky but I do like to leave reviews when I am a happy customer, so I am leaving a positive one for Optical Factor.

I received my glasses in a timely manor and all correspondence has been great. I ordered some glasses in July 25 and 4 months later 2 of the 3 clipons are broken. I'm guessing the remaining clipon will break soon. I gave them 2 stars because the customer service was good at least for response. Delivery was pretty quick, less than 2 weeks. However the frames and arms seem pretty cheap and nasty. The prescription aspect seems OK as my distance vision is improved. I bought the motorcycle glasses, but can’t really use them for this purpose because the frames and arms are too bulky and won’t fit inside my open face helmet comfortably. Also I hadn’t realised the lenses come in two parts - one outer generic cover, with little prescription lenses inside. I wouldn’t buy again. Luckily they weren’t too expensive.

This is edited Initially my review was as follows,- What a joke - would give zero stars if could. Ordered Titanium rimmed glasses with blue colour lenses - they sent cheap as, clear plastic frame ($1 dollar store) - basically "toy glasses" - wish could add photo to show how bad and cheap these are. Update, however the company did apologise for incorrect dispatch and have sent through the correct order (after 2 weeks) they arrived and - the frames are cheap and so flimsy not what you would expect, but the lenses are fine. So have altered from 1 star to 2 stars on basis they did resend out order (for customer service only) but the quality is not good. Will not order from them again

Very misleading delivery timeline mentioned in site. Be prepared to wait 3-4 weeks to get the glasses. I will share a product update after I receive the glasses. Update: Both glasses appear to have used 1.67 while I ordered 1.74 lenses. The prescription sunglasses were ok as the lens thickness is more on the inside. But, the clear prescription glasses were very flimsy and is off from the prescription as the vision is not sharp and clear compared to my regular priced prescription glasses. We get what we pay for!

The website looks legit and is user friendly however, your order comes out of China. After you place your order, you have to download an app called AFTERSHIP for tracking. It took 1 week for the glasses to be made and 2 weeks to ship them here from Shanghai. I had no clue my glasses were coming out of China until after I placed my order. Buy American and get your glasses faster.
