Avoid this bank at all costs. Yes, they offer an attractive interest rate. But the frustration of dealing with them is simply not worth it. Just opening the account was the most convoluted process I have ever gone through, took a ton of my valuable time. Then in order to fund it, I tried to link not one, not two, but three external accounts, all of which they rejected (I'd never had a problem linking any of them before). So that was a ton more time wasted. I ended up closing the account and telling them exactly what I thought of them. Seriously, stay away!

Wish I had read these reviews first. Terrible experience I don’t recommend them. Withdrawal constraints not disclosed customer service provides wrong answers. Promise an update in 3 to 5 days when I need money now. Never again with them.

It’s been a nightmare to add my spouse (wasn’t even an option when we opened it). I’m moving my money out now but it’s taking forever with the daily limit.

They locked my account and stole my money. OpenBank is a scam.

Opening an account with this bank is extremely difficult. I tried a while ago and quit out of frustration. I tried again a second time and wasn't successful. I called customer no service and they blocked my account. Was told I have to wait! Wait for what? I'm putting my savings with another bank since Open Bank is so difficult to deal with. Screw you

Awful experience with the high-yield online savings account. You can't set up recurring transfers into the account -- the only option is to manually transfer money each time. There's no way to do mobile check deposit. There's no way to chat with customer service -- you have to call. The first customer service representative I spoke to, who informed me that I couldn't set up recurring transfers, was rude. The second rep, who closed my account for me, was very courteous. But this bank was a waste of my time. I will settle for slightly lower interest from an account with actual functionality.

I was blocked but as did what I was told to get it unblocked is when they said it would be closed. Then worse because it is blocked I have been waiting for them to finish closing it for over a month and it has been at least 3 weeks that they keep telling me I would receive an email of it closed within 2 or 3 days but still not a word. And I urgently need my money back. I hope to have this done this month, otherwise I will be calling everyday till it is.
