I've used dozens of Onset data loggers to make innumerable measurements of atmospheric parameters since 1994 (24 years). Onset provided many of my early loggers, and I've purchased many others, including a recent purchase of five UX120-006M 4-channel, 16-bit analog loggers. I know of no other logger than can begin to meet the capabilities of these 4-channel loggers. I've used Onset loggers while on assignment from NASA in Brazil, underwater in Hawaii, and many, many times at Hawaii's Mauna Loa Observatory (MLO). Onset loggers I used at MLO were key to my finding that cumulus clouds in a clear sky can increase UV-B by as much as 15%, a result I published in NATURE. I'll be using Onset loggers during summer 2018 for a Rolex-funded solar UV-B survey of Hawaii Island. Onset loggers I have used have never failed to perform, and I highly recommend them. Disclosure: I helped represent Onset at several meetings of the National Science Teachers Association some years ago.
