Water level logger MX2001 & related issues

I've been using onset products for many years and I'm very happy with most. My last order (water level logger mx2001), however, came without a cable which would normally render the product useless. However, since I was replacing an older unit, I was able to reuse the old cable. Another unit also has a glitch with the battery readings, alternating between 0 and 100 percent, immediately after new batteries were installed. These units seem to go bad after 2 yrs. I do like the bluetooth connectivity and data appear reasonably accurate.

Thanks for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. The MX2001 water level systems require three parts: the sensor, the cable, and the logger. All are interchangeable and sold separately, as well as in kits. As your order for a single sensor was placed through our web store, there was no conversation regarding what items you might already have to complete the system. We are glad that you did have the other parts from a previous purchase to use with the sensor you bought. I will talk to our marketing folks to see if there is a better way to make this clearer in the web pages, as well as in the checkout process. Your comment regarding product life is unexpected, however. Our MX (and all of our) loggers should provide years of reliable service when they are properly cared for. I could not find any tech support cases for you or your company in our system.
