I’d like to share my experience with a particular model the Sabot 66. I purchased it from the official Onitsuka store in Paris for €140. After only a couple of weeks, the shoes broke. The international support team helped me contact the Paris store, and I received a replacement. Unfortunately, after wearing the new pair for about a month, the same issue happened again. I genuinely believe that this model just isn’t one of Onitsuka’s successes. I’m a teacher and wear these shoes to work, where I mostly sit. I never ran or did anything that could cause such damage. When I contacted customer support again, their response was far less helpful than the first time. After I asked for a solution, they simply stopped replying. I honestly don’t understand why I should pay €140 for a pair of shoes that only last a month.

I like this brand of shoes. It's my go to shoes. In fact I buy recently a pair of there shoes for my sister. You must try it.

I placed an order with Onitsuka Tiger 5 days ago for two pairs of shoes in excess of £300. Upon contacting customer services, who were helpful, they informed me there was a problem with the payment and I should contact my provider (PayPal). Paypal have provided me with sufficient evidence that proves they have my money and the matter is not with them, it is with Onitsuka Tiger (Asics UK). I have an order confirmation from Onitsuka Tiger, an order number from Onitsuka Tiger, a transaction ID from PayPal linked to the Onitsuka Tiger order number and have provided the Onitsuka Tiger customer services team with proof of payment. Upon providing this, the customer service team did dispatch my goods and I should be receiving them tomorrow. But this is a hassle I didn't really need... If I could provide feedback, their CS team are super courteous and communicate well, but they did blame the payment provider without checking their own systems / process' first. It put a lot of hassle on me as the buyer, which suggests they aren't really 'customer service', they're more 'business protection acting as customer service'.

It’s a pity. I love those shoes and I also love the quality but now the price has risen and the quality obviously went down. They advertise the bad quality with “recycled leather” but it doesn’t seem to be leather at all. The lashes at the back, obviously show an artificial texture. And the fit is not what it used to be. Disappointing. Might be my last pair out of 10.

Ordered from the UK store but the shoes are being sent from Germany. Its important to undersna where the products we order are coming from so we can make informed decisions. Clearly the delivery period was much slower than expected, a week later still waiting.

I found it difficult to order shoes on this site, but I think I’ve finally figured it out. I hope this helps others. I wanted to order a set of Onitsuka Tiger shoes to replace a pair from the same brand id worn out. I checked the label in the shoe to get my size…but beware! the size printed inside the shoes themselves are US and euro sizes. The sizes on the website are UK sizes. UK sizes are not printed inside the shoes. UK sizes look very similar to the US ones but they are different. I’m a UK size 9.5, but my shoes are a US size 10.5. I simply read the number printed on the inside of the shoe and then ordered a pair that were too large. Judging by the reviews here plenty of people make the same mistake. This is why. The website designers at Onitsuka Tiger should fix this in my opinion by including the European and US size alongside the UK size on the product description. You can’t see this information, even if you look for it. Also the delivery is free, but very slow. The shoes are shipped from Germany, and take between 1-2 weeks to arrive. That’s fine if you’re expecting it, but again the website gives the impression that delivery is much faster. The website itself is very (!) slow. Especially if you’re looking for information about an order. Which can be frustrating. When I had to return an order I spoke to a helpful customer sales agent who showed me the return button on the website. The return was again very slow but they did refund me after a few weeks, so all ended well. The shoes themselves are very well made and comfortable. the discounts on Sale items are decent also, but arguably the ‘normal’ price for these shoes is rather high. £70 -£90 for most of their standard trainers, more expensive than the high street. If Onitsuka Tiger are reading this, please improve your website (product info and speed) and shipping. It undermines an otherwise good quality product. The pricing is premium, but the buying experience is poor. EDIT: the shoes arrived after 8 days but they were a completely different model and size to what i’d ordered. Disappointing.
