Horrible online customer service
I’ve been a fan of Onitsuka Tiger and had been travelling a lot between my 3 residing countries as I’m an artist so I travel between for work. Lately, I’ve recommended Tiger to my friends and family, sometimes they couldn’t find the size they want in the United States or Hong Kong when I’m flying to next so I’d purchase my shoes online when I’m in Sydney, then I’d bring it to them as sort of like a favour. Which means I’ve been buying shoes from their Sydney online store often but different styles and different sizes. It was fine with the first pair then they stopped sending me shoes even though they have stock online and have charged my card. They have sent me confirmation email so I told my friend or family that it’s all good, it’s been confirmed. I’ll bring them to you on my flight back. But no, they would take 4-5 days without updating the status of my order then decide to not send it. The worse part is that they wouldn’t tell me it’s been cancelled, they’d sneakily cancel my pending payment in my card. How I found out my order has been cancelled was not through their notice but through my having a habit of checking my card transactions daily. Imagine if I’m not a person of such, just a customer waiting for you to send my pair of shoes hoping to make it for my next flight in order to do my friends or family a favour. I’d be waiting for forever without notice! Later on, I tried to order online cause I saw they have stock. So I’d text a friend and tell them the pair they were looking for is in stock, I can help me purchase it before my next flight out. Guess what, I couldn’t make payment. They’ve blocked my card and my details because I have been purchasing too many pairs in shoes in too many different sizes within a very short time span! I’m happy to wait but please as an international brand, do not use such sneaky methods. If you are out of stock or lack the staff to assist shipping just send me an email in regards to delay or cancellation. Don’t cancel my order without notifying me, if you don’t want my business it’s fine or you’d prefer we switch to purchasing other brands that’s alright too, I can tell my family or friends to try and find their sizes elsewhere but don’t do it behind a customer’s back. The Japanese is well known for their customer service, so this is absolutely disappointing. Please be frank and just tell me if my order isn’t going to come or if you cancel my order, instead of having me wait then nervous if whether I will receive shoes before my flight as out of curtesy I should let my friend or family know it didn’t work out, your brand refuses business and please don’t be expecting new shoes that I’ve promised you I’ll bring for you on my next trip.
