The office on E. Broadway in Tucson has incompetant and rude employees. Treating seniors is called Geriatrics which is a specialized field and the so called Drs, Np's, and office mgr aren't qualified. Patients have left. They don't answer the phone and if they do its blunt and rude. I got wrong lab results reported by Dr Smock and scolded for telling a receptionist she was rude. Not returning!

The Health Coaches are not experienced enough in customer care or knowledgeable about some of the issues a patient might have or need. They give wrong info, do not respond in a timely manner or not at all to patients texts. One doctor wrote an insulin prescription incorrectly, whiched caused me not to have a full 90 day supply that I paid and didn't have the funds to pay to cover the doctors err. So I didnt have a complete 90 day supply of insulin and they would not pay for their mistake. There is more with this incident and it is not good. Very unprofessional. I have never had a doctor not listen to my heart nor do I get weighed during a visit. I have to request to be weighed. I have heart and weight issues ???? I think another medical provider is in the near future.

I liked the office I visited in Huntington Beach. Very professional and prompt. However, the virtual visits (not with the Huntington Beach provider)I've had have been less than stellar and one of the visits was so overcharged I can't even believe it. I would never use this service again unless it was included with Prime, and even then it would only be for the visit covered 100% by my insurance yearly. One of the virtual providers I used wouldn't get back to me in anything like a timely manner. It's a shame too because I wouldn't mind seeing the provider again in Huntington Beach.

I used to love One Medical. I've been with them for more than 5 years. But now that I have a serious medical issue they are nothing but frustrating. My doctor is on PTO often, and there is NO WAY to directly contact her office other than leaving a message in the portal. The only number you can call is an 888 number, which always has a long hold time. And even then they will not transfer you to the office, they insist on being a go between. This is not good patient care. I have urgent forms that need to be filled out by my doctor, my doctor is on leave, and my insurance can't get ahold of my doctor easily either, even when she's in the office, because of that 888 number that no one has the patience for. I hate to change PCP in the middle of a cancer diagnosis, but I am giving up on One Medical.

When I first went to Iora Care I was a happy camper. My doctor was awesome. Within like a year and half, he'd left. I didn't click with his replacement and moved to another office per a recommendation from my insurance agent. I liked her well enough but, you guessed it, within like a year or 2, she was gone. I went thru a couple more like that. One I mentioned that she was like my 4th or 5th doctor. She said 'Well, I think we can do something about that. Don't worry!" She was gone in a month. The next doctor told me she was temporary and would only be there for a month. She changed some medication because she didn't like the one I was on. I had a bunch of side effects. I asked to be taken off it. They gave me another with pretty much the same or worse results. I asked to be taken off that. They gave me 2 choices for replacement. The first one I'd asked to be taken off. Or the one I had been on before they changed it. Holy cow! My current 'doctor' of record is a nurse practitioner whom I've never even seen or met with. Yet she sets up appointments for scans without even notifying me first. I'm sent emails with a note at the bottom to please reply so they know I got it. But I can send emails to them and not get a reply for weeks. I want to change to another location again but frankly, I'm afraid I'll get worse. And they don't seem any better since becoming One Medical.

Our Doctor is good, but not everything else! Supporting team is useless! Staffs in office have no use for helping patients with any issue because they don’t actually answer the calls. Call will route to god knows where! The person answers call only taking messages and pass it on to next person. And two weeks or more later you may or may not get reply. Their reply to any request is very slow! Even just for a drug refill when doctor is on leave. There is no any other doctor to cover during that period. You only deal with portal response from other remote place. Their business model is NOT put patient first, so obviously the person in charge the company is there for business benefits not for patients care! After we terminated membership, but some insurance billing issue remains with previous visit, need to reach doctor. Only being told we pay up the fee, then the portal will be reinstated, only then we can connect with the doctor or we shall receive no help! The person on the phone has no medical knowledge regarding lab tests, but insisted she knew our insurance issue had nothing to do with doctor. Even one time asked us to obtain diagnostic codes from lab ourselves. So she didn’t have to make such call! It’s so obvious, company’s main goal is not offering better care for the members / patients, only focus on getting more people sign up. And hired wrong kind of people for the job, - no medical knowledge and no compassion! We think our very nice doctor should leave this company and join other group with REAL support team in office. We would definitely follow her…

Had 2 good appointments with a great Doctor scheduled fast. Now the actual prescription and followup process are unclear and I don't know what's going on after reaching out twice. I was told a prescription was on it's way twice now. I've been told twice to wait 24 hours for my prescription and the pharmacy still hasn't received any record of it. I'm not sure what's going on because it's also hard to get into contact with someone that knows what's going on and can respond in between followup sessions. There should be some kind of automatic tracker on your website for prescription statuses since there's no one we can contact at one medical there in a timely manner or over the phone. The app's chat has a 12 hour turnaround time, so for each response that doesn't help, one has to wait an additional 12 hours.
