If you are a translator I offer this terse advice; give it a wide berth and never think twice.

A huge No for me. I don't mind certifications but too many and too long here-exhausting for tasks/projects paying $9+ but under $20/hr. You have to complete a decent amount of certifications before you can even begin a task. I understand they want to make sure you can do the task(s) for each project but put this in the job description when it is posted on these job sites so we know ahead of time. Although, if they did do this I am sure that it would turn many people off.

Impossible to get answers from them. Awaiting payment for June, July and August. They don't send PO's and they don't send payment in time. I have been waiting several months for payment now. I was supposed to pay bills with the payment, now I'm in debt instead.

I agree with these reviews. OneForma blocked my account with no reason, and they asked me to say why I have been blocked. Garbage.

Je ne sais pas combien de mails j'ai pu recevoir de cette société... Au début, j'ai essayé les certifications, y compris dans ma langue maternelle (j'ai fait 5 ans de la relecture pour des maisons d'éditions + 20 ans de traduction) et oh surprise, je n'ai pas réussi ! Sans oublier que leur test se bloque régulièrement et saute des questions si vous cliquez plusieurs fois à ce moment-là ! Bref, une énorme perte de temps. Dernière surprise: Je reçois un mail de recrutement pour un nouveau projet. J'y réponds... pour voir. On me dit de passer une fois de plus des certifications. J'ai pensé, c'est la dernière fois. Mais ça m'a tellement gonflé que j'ai arrêté avant la moitié. Aujourd'hui, j'ai reçu un mail comme quoi, j'étais sélectionnée !!!! Oui, vous avez bien lu ! Ça donne une idée du sérieux de cette société.

It looks like a real scam. I tried to complete one certification from English to my mother tongue. I have never passed it, I registered from different accounts and did something like 24 rounds but I never got more than 40 %. Then I tried to complete language test between my native languages as I'm bilingual and... I tell you what - passing 20 to 30 % of the test is really weird. Ahah. You have to choose one mistake from millions of possible ones. You have no chance. Oneforma is a bad thing. Lol

A scam. I had to get a lot of certifications to be accepted in the projects. I was accepted in 10 projects several months ago but they never send me a task to work on. A complete waste of time.

Not very impressed, their ad implies you will be payed for training - but that's not really the case. They have "clauses" that can stop payment - so you end up spending hours and earn nothing. Steer clear.
