do your homework, then go on-line and find your need, email them for questions, and go for it......the beta is sound.....direct....and service is friendly excellence. also, once in the store....ask whether there are sales on other gear you have had on your mind

Ordered a harness, pair of carabiners and some cord. Shortly after placing my order, I received an email from Mike with OMC stating that the harness I have selected was in fact out of stock. Instead of cancelling the order, we were able to find a different harness ( more expensive than the one I had originally selected), and they were still willing to give me the other harness at the same price as the first. This is my first order from OMCGear.com, and it will not be my last! Thanks Mike!

I have to say the folks at OMC are some of the more knowledgeable folks I have dealt with in the outdoor industry, even about products they don't sell. Unfortunately the pair of boots I ordered from them were not what I was looking for, but they allowed me to return them no questions asked and had no problem spending an hour on the phone going over alternatives, some of which they did not carry, with me to try and get me into some thing that would work. I really did not expect this high a level of service especially as an internet customer, thanks guys.

It was easy to return a down sweater that was larger than I expected. Net result was I got a smaller size of the same product that was also on sale. Refund and shipping were very quick. I will certainly look to do business with OMCgear again!

This was my first purchase from OMCGear. In fact, prior to purchasing the North Face Base Camp XL, I'd never heard of OMCgear. They had a great price on the bag and free shipping so I thought why not give it a shot. I already knew the bag was great - I own two others of different sizes. Turns out, OMCgear was great too. I received emails promptly alerting me of my order status and shipping number. The bag shipped out next day and I had it just a couple of days later. It was exactly what I was expecting - a new Base Camp XL - not something that had been a return or something that someone was trying to pawn off as new. I was very pleased with my OMCgear experience and will definitely be considering them next time I'm gear shopping. Thanks, OMCgear!
