I have to admit that when I first landed at the OMC website I was skeptical about it being a legit company. The price was too good! The shipping was fast and free! There's no way it could be real, right? So I took a gamble and submitted my order and was pleasantly surprised when my product arrived two days later, as advertised! I will definitely check OMC the next time I'm in need of outdoor gear.

Omcgear called me to verify that I placed the order for a new Mountain Hardwear backpack. Once I got the product I was more than happy to receive it in a timely manner.

Ordered a sleeping bag, didn't get any status until a couple days later when someone sent an email claiming that someone else tried to contact me before about swapping the sleeping bag from right handed to left handed since they're out of right handed. It's a bit strange since I didn't get any such requests. No matter. Fine with the swap and the order quickly got shipped. However, they charged an additional amount on my credit card since the left handed one is $20 more expensive. Sent an email and got quickly taken care of. Maybe it's paradoxical that I would still recommend them but the whole experience was actually reasonably pleasant. I'm fine with mistakes as long as they got fixed quickly and politely. I would assume that they don't make too many mistakes and my recent experience is an aberrant, but good to know that they can deal with it well. Also felt like I got a good deal with the purchase. I'll definitely buy from them again if there are good deals to be had.

Wan, Thanks for being understanding about the problem with your order. From the notes on the order, one of our customer service reps called and left a message, but didn't send an e-mail at the same time. Sorry that the lack of e-mail caused a delay in reaching the solution to the problem with your order. Thanks for letting us know how you feel.
