Scammed!
My boyfriend purchased a set of fixed-point cross bars for his 2008 Porsche Cayenne. Upon receiving the item, he found that they sent me the wrong cross bars meant for a universal roof rail. Not a problem, everyone makes mistakes. He contacted them via eBay case to get the item swapped out. After a few messages back and forth, a return label was issued. Shipped back original rails using provided return label. Didnt hear from them in a few weeks, reached out to follow up as the tracking showed it arrived back to the seller. Upon following up, they state that the return is outside the eBay claims window, seller says they cannot issue us a refund nor give us the correct product... because there is no option on their back end. Okay... no problem send back the wrong bars then because now we are out of crossbars and out of the original payment. Offered to pay for the label to get the cross bars back, but they said they can't even do that because they intake the return back into inventory and sold it to another customer. So no return, no getting the correct bars, and not even being able to get the original wrong bars back. We own an online ecommerce ourselves. If we shipped out a wrong product and it's our company's fault, we will take accountability for it, even if eBay doesn't let us. It's as simple as sending out the right part even if it comes out of our pocket to pay for the label because ebay wont. Also gave them a call, their receptionist Megan was accommodating and informative about the notes on our order. However, when she transferred us to her supervisor, we were left on hold and then hung up on. Tried to call back and was continuously ignored. We are not really tripping over $140 bucks, if you need it that bad then you can keep it. The customer service is what really irks us. Hope they see this and resolve it. TLDR; bought item, recieved wrong item, returned for exchange, right item never sent out, seller refuses to refund, refuses to send correct part, refuses to send back original part due to no refund. customer service supervisor left buyer on hold and hung up. customer service 1/5 stars.
