Great Shoes, Disappointing Customer Service I’ve been a loyal OluKai customer for years and think the shoes are great. Unfortunately, their customer service is not great. I recently ordered two pairs of shoes in size 10, but OluKai mistakenly shipped one pair in size 7. Rather than simply correcting their fulfillment error, they put the burden on me to resolve it. I had to navigate a frustrating online chat, submit multiple rounds of photographs to prove their mistake, print a return label, and arrange a trip to USPS. All because their warehouse shipped the wrong size. When I expressed my frustration, customer service offered a 50% discount on a future purchase, but it expired in 90 days. I’d just purchased two pairs of shoes, so that’s useless. They eventually shipped the correct shoes. But a simple fulfillment mistake turned into an unnecessarily frustrating customer experience.

Total liars on shipping time. They state 3-5 business days. I'm at two weeks and counting.

Paid almost $200 for a pair of shoes, dont wear them much as I live in CO and they’re pretty seasonal. Love the look, fit and comfort but the quality is questionable. Had to glue the outsole on both shoes as they started coming off. Bought them at a resort in AZ. They neglected to mention the warranty and I didn’t look it up… too irritated. Over a year now, though the issue started after a few months.

Been ordering their great products for years however their website, “Virtual” assistant, and customer service is the worst I have ever experienced! Trying to connect with a human being who hopefully have a higher IQ than their AI, which must stand for “absolutely idiotic” is impossible which equates to me not ordering product and them Lodi g money! Does it get any stupider than this from a business stand point!

I bought a pair of Maloã leather tan shoes in July 2025. The shoes arrived and are beautifully made. I wore them a few times during the summer months and then not at all during the UK winter months. Overall I’d say light wear since I received them. However the rubber grip pods incorporated into the sole of the shoe have already worn down significantly. So much so that when it is wet the shoes become very slippy as the leather sole does not grip like the rubber is supposed to. I raised by this as a manufacturing flaw but Olukai do not see it as such and refuse to accept my claim. I’d have expected the shoes to last more than a few months, especially given the price. Very disappointed with their stance on this.

Order W4254340 ****UPDATE***Replying to Olukai’s poor response; Return so far has been easy. Still waiting for refund. Since I liked the quality, I ordered from your store on Amazon. I ordered one size up on your Hiapo sandal AND Mekila in a size 14 AND THEY ARE STILL TOO SMALL! That’s 2 SIZES too small! What are the odds that I’m the only customer experiencing this gross variance in size?!? Why didn’t OluKai address your deceptive marketing conveys the idea that your products are made in Hawaii when they’re in fact made CHINA, AND charging a price as if they were made in America?!?! **** I ordered a size 13 of one of their mariner shoes end of July for a trip to Italy in August and the fit was near perfect. I also ordered a pair of men’s slides for my son, size 9. They fit fine. No complaints as of yet. I’m going on trip to Costa Rica this Saturday and needed a new pair of Sandals. I called customer service to help pick the right sandals for the trip sharing that I’ll be in and out of the ocean, my shoe size of 13, and she helped me pick out 2 pair and gave me expedited shipping. I received them yesterday and although the inside confirms size 13 they are both 1 size too small. I scrambled to try and find the same sandals sold elsewhere, and landed on Amazon. It was there that I learned that the Mea Ola dark Java runs a size small! A size small!?! That info was not shared by the customer service rep at Olukai. The Ohana reviews of this same product in Amazon also reports that they run small, even though the product description shows True to Size. This data really needs to be in bold print on the Olukai website—that they run a whole size to small. why make them a size smaller in the first place?!?! One last thing, the marketing and advertising for Olukai gives the impression that they are a Hawaii made product, made in the USA, that the benefit the Hawaiian community—but that’s not true. They are made in CHINA! Which kind of explains why there are so many inconsistent reviews in Amazon and the low score on Trust Pilot. Both sandals looked great, but they are not advertisers right…now I have to scramble to find some sandals for my trip. What a disappointment!

I bought 3 items Very stylish but sizing is way off and only 1 of the 3 is comfortable one was too small one too large and all overpriced

The side of my left flip flop ripped out of the sole after the middle of their second summer. Summers are pretty short where I live. Bummed because I paid a premium for them.
