I was in a horrible rut. My only thought was my next drink. Naltrexone 50mg really works. I still have one drink after work and it is all I want or need. I am grateful for the product and it's outcomes. Naltrxone definitely takes away the desire for alcohol. I am now a better person all around. Many Thanks.

The pill seems to be making a difference! I find that I don't really want to drink; I've noticed that the habit is what drives my desire to drink. The desire is fading.

Often, combining the habit of taking one's medication consistently with additional strategies to break the habit of drinking and/or to start new healthy habits proves to be the most powerful combination. I’ve only been using Oar for a couple of weeks now, but it’s been fantastic. I haven’t had any alcohol or experienced any cravings or desires. I’ve lost 15 pounds. So far, so good. I’m about 3 weeks into taking the medication daily and haven’t drank at all. For the first 4 or 5 days there was some mild nausea (queasiness, but not like I was gonna barf) and minor sleep disturbance, both of which went away completely. My personal goal is to not drink at all, and I’ve struggled for decades with a sort of switch in my brain that would lead to extended binge benders when in the “on” position. The switch seems to be in the “off” position thanks to the meds, and I hope it stays that way! This is so much better than other methods. I just want to not drink and go on with my life rather than have drinking (alcoholism) be the focus of my world (ie attending meetings, etc). Try Oar, it can’t hurt, and may even help!
