Oar program works
The program/medicine works. I’ve been to outpatient rehab and nothing worked but this program. I’ve been taking the meds for well over a year so I am a testament to its success. Give it a chance if you want to quit or cut down drinking.

Scam
Wish I would have researched this company before getting scammed by them. I have never seen such horrible reviews on a company. The phone number goes straight to voicemail, so you cannot talk to anyone and they will not call you back. I have attempted to get a refund. While on the website. It showed the monthly amount of 39.00. I was not under the assumption it would charge the full year in advance. I saw the 469.00 charged as an alert and I called 40 seconds later, as well as emailed them before it shipped. Oar didnt respond until after it shipped and let me know there are no refunds. I looked on the BBB site and this has happened to many people. I am disputing this with my credit card company, contact FTC—anything I can do to make sure other people do not get scammed like this.

Thanks for the feedback. To streamline our process, Oar Health offers its customer service via email. Regarding the charge our experienced, at checkout, every Oar Health member signs up for a recurring subscription to medication, if prescribed. This subscription begins as soon as the Oar Health member is prescribed by a clinician. Members cannot move forward without checking a box that states that they have read and agreed to these terms. However, we are really grateful for your feedback and have taken it on board. We started this business to help people and really do want to make it easier for folks to drink less or quit. Therefore, we have now updated our website to make this even more clear.

From Addiction to recovery
Oar health has helped me go into recovery from active alcohol addiction. I was consuming a bottle of alcohol a day before finding Naltrexone through Oar. Starting the medication, I gradually lost my desire for alcohol as the alcohol did not have a greater effect on me any longer. I greatly recommend this to anyone struggling with addiction.
