I am disappointed at them
I am disappointed at them, it took about 1 months to ship all the items at my place. I was told, it can take about 15-20 days maximum. But, one month is too much time.

TL;DR get labor-only movers and a U-haul if you see this in time. After calling around to a few different moving companies and getting outrageously expensive (to me, at least) quotes, I found Amerisafe. I spoke to one of their salesmen who was professional and helpful. What stuck with me was how he said, "I'm sure you want this to be the last call you have to make, so I'll see how close we can get to the price you're looking for." I told him my budget, and he worked with me until we came to a number that sounded reasonable--i.e., giving a discount for having my own TV box and mattress bag, and another discount for being flexible on the exact date, etc. It seemed like a very thorough, informative call. I looked over the quote sheet, which reflected the number he told me. And then I made a mistake: I paid a 33% deposit before looking up the reviews online, something I make a point to never do. I'm not sure what it was about this time--this sales guy was good, that's all I can say. He told me as long as there wasn't a grand piano or something like that I hadn't mentioned, everything would go smoothly. I got off the call feeling like a weight had been lifted off. Fast forward to yesterday, 2 days before the move. I got a call from "Quality Assurance" and was asked to go over my items again. I quickly realized the original sales guy had not included an exhaustive list of my things in my quote, and by the end of that call the price had nearly doubled. For reference, we added my bed frame, a couple of living room chairs, and a cat tree. Boom, price doubled. I told the guy the new price completely changed things for me, and that honestly I felt like I'd been scammed, since the deposit was also non-refundable. He said he understood and he would talk to his managers. I did see they had taken a little bit off of the updated quote as a "manager's discount," but my trust in the company was gone. What was stopping them from just adding another $1000 if none of these quotes were binding? That was when I started looking around online and realized Amerisafe is famous for holding people's things hostage, jacking prices way up at the last second (when it's "too late" to hire other movers), and adding on surprise fees. My favorite is the Facebook group specifically for people who have been scammed by this company. So I had to choose: walk away and lose my 33% deposit, or stick with them, pay WAY more, and hope they don't continue to add on crazy amounts of money. The latter felt too risky to me, so I went with the former. They did agree to refund me a small portion of my deposit...in exchange for agreeing in writing not to sue. That's a good sign, right?

I contacted a sales rep, insisted to get an appointment to show him the house content via video (I have antiques and large artwork, so wanted to make sure he saw what I was moving). He provided a quote the next day, that was not very clear in term of what the costs were, so I sent back an email with some clarification questions. He replied the next day that he would get to my questions when he had some down time!!! And we are now a week out and I have not heard back... I guess they don't want my business

We moved from Salt Lake City Utah to Palm Bay Florida. I checked out different movers and decided on Amerisafe Movers. They said they do a lot of moves and told what to expect as well as when it would happen. They arrived a day early but all the better. They packed and loaded my house and said they would be in Florida in 5 days. I had to be there for delivery. I rushed 2400 plus Mies down to our new home and waited. They never showed up. I called Samuel who told me he would check. A lady from ALL SEASONS LLC moving call me back. She had a very thick accent and could hardly understand her. However in-between language difficulties she said “they were loading the truck”. I asked her what that meant. She told me they loaded a trailer to from the truck they had to move it from my house. This was never, NEVER explained to me. But Ok, it is what it is. 2 days later I called and the same lady who told me they were loaded the truck. I told her that was 2 days ago. She said that the trailer had broken and they ** HADN’T left Salt lake.** I asked when will they. She said in a day or 2. In 2 days I called to find out and was told they were loaded the truck AGAIN. I called Samuel and he said he would find out. I got a call from Americasfe #CUSTOMER SERVICE# and was told that the trailer had broken down and they would be loading it soon. I told her that was 4 days ago and we needed our house. She said it would be on the way soon. I waited another 2 days and never heard anything and called Samuel again. He told me he’d have *CUSTOMER SERVICE* find out. I received a call from the same Amerisafe Person and was told they hadn’t loaded it yet. I explained that we were without anything. We had to buy items to make do and it was costing a lot more. We needed our house. She told me again that it had broken down and they were working on it. I asked questions as to why can’t they put it on another trailer, where IS my house, and so on. She told me to stop talking, and to be quiet. She then told me it ****HAPPENS ALL THE TIME*** as well as they had !!! 21 working days (that’s 29 calendar days except with a holiday in-between it’s 30 days) to get me my house. The caveat was when she said **there isn’t anything you can do about it***. REALLY????? I was applauded and truly frustrated. I still haven’t heard anything of where my house is, is it secured, are the items SAFE, or any information about my house. DO NOT USE THIS OUTFIT!! They are unprofessional, unreactive, uncaring, and should not be trusted with what they say. I will update this review when I get any info. USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! Document everything and have an Attorney retained IF you do like I have.

All the big items (bedroom set and vanity didn’t take apart and said that’s not included in the delivery. All they did is 25 boxes. 10 big boxes and 10 middle and 5small boxes. $2158. Just 360 Cubert of the tuck total . Bad communication., didn’t do what the contract wrote ! that only just want to do the small stuff not help with the main heavy delivery! That’s the worst experience ever. ! Rip off and lies!

Communication between AmeriSafe and broker company , No Borders Moving and Storage, was abysmal. Paid money upfront to AmeriSafe. No Borders then demanded more upon pickup and prior to delivery. No Borders, harassed, threatened and held our furniture hostage with the support of Amerisafe. Contract is ambiguous. Be aware that broker will try to wring as much money as possible from you. Using shuttles and weight of moving items, they increase payments on the back end. AmeriSafe did nothing to work with us when United Insurance claim was denied due to inaccurate information from No Borders. Terrible experience! Think twice before you contract with this group!

Hello Anyone & Everyone. At All cost, DO NOT use AmeriSafe Moving Services. These people are Scam Artist. They are Brokers' NOT an actual Moving Company. They have changed their name from Nationwide Moving to AmeriSafe due to unethical practices. They Bait you in with a Super Low price, then once you sign the Bill of Lading contract, they literally got you after the 3rd day of signing. The movers they hire to pick up your belongings, load the truck and now you are at their mercy. The price is going to be THOUSANDS more based on the cubic footage. Not to mention if you decide to cancel your contract before the 3 days are up, they will hold on to your money and try Every Angle possible to keep your money. When you 1st call, They start off by telling you that they are the #1 Moving Company and they do thousands of moves a year. Get you to sign up by telling you that they're giving you a fantastic discount. Once this happens, they got you by the b**ls. Do yourself a tremendous favor and DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Go on BBB and see for yourself, as well as social media platforms. These people are crooks and they don't have any integrity whatsoever.

I had my pick up and delivery dates changed several times. After making arrangements a third time I was called by a dispatcher names Giovanni the day before pick up and told I would have to change dates again. I had arranged both pick up and delivery destinations to fit their schedule and this disrupted several people and our jobs. Not professional at all, I was told by Giovanni that, "I was like his mother!"
