The movers were courteous, on time, took great care moving my items from my apartment to the truck and did an amazing job moving my things.....
I would use them again and I would recommend them to anyone who needed to hire a moving company. The were upfront and transparent about the cost, called me to confirm and follow up on the details of my move

Worst experience ever
The price changed several times during the move, but their quotes come as a link in your email and when you click on the link, it says it’s expired, so you can’t go back and see all their price changes. This company showed up a day late, didn’t apply one of the payments that cleared the bank to the account, and then refused to unload anything at the new house. My parents are elderly and my dad has stage 4 cancer and they fought with them and refused to even get the bed out of the truck. Every time you call the office, no one answers and they won’t call you back. We had to call the police to file a complaint and my parents had to stay in a hotel because they didn’t have a bed to sleep in. I even bought Monsters and McDonald’s for the movers and they took advantage of my elderly parents. We had to file complaints with the police and adult protective services against this company. Don’t let them take advantage of you too.

WARNING
WARNING: DO NOT USE AMERISAFE MOVING SERVICES—THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!
I have never in my life dealt with a company as dishonest, predatory, and downright vile as AmeriSafe Moving Services. If you are considering using them, RUN in the opposite direction unless you enjoy being lied to, scammed out of thousands of dollars, and left completely stranded without your belongings.
I booked a long-distance move from Philadelphia to Florida. I spoke with Dean Rodriguez, who initially came across as polite, professional, and helpful—until he got my money. He swore up and down that my total price was final, with absolutely no hidden fees and that my belongings would be delivered on March 17-18. He even assured me that there was plenty of space on the truck and that I wouldn’t go over my quoted price. I trusted him. That was my first mistake.
Moving day comes, and guess what? The movers show up and immediately tell me that my quote is completely meaningless. They refused to load my things unless I paid them an additional $2,000, on top of the $1,000 I had already paid. When I called AmeriSafe to demand answers, I was transferred to Taylor Hamilton, the most condescending and disgusting excuse for a "customer service" representative I have ever encountered. When I told her that I had been blatantly lied to, she did not care in the slightest and told me, “That’s not my problem.” I told her I wanted to cancel, and she mocked me, and told me to ‘enjoy my f*ing move’ before hanging up.**
But it gets even worse.
When I looked at my contract, in the small print the March 17-18, dean sold me says "estimated" -- so they could cover there back. But Dean forgot to mention this when he was scamming me on the phone. I told him I would be arriving in Florida the 17th and he told me in order to have the items there by that time I would have to have them picked up the Thursday prior, this was the whole reason I traveled to Florida on those dates—to be there when my belongings arrived. When I called to check on my delivery, I was told that my things are still sitting in a warehouse in New Jersey—1,500 miles away. Nobody can give me an answer on when they will be delivered. I had no bed, no clothes except what I was wearing, and had to go buy a blow-up mattress just to have somewhere to sleep. AmeriSafe Moving Services is a fraudulent, predatory, garbage company that exists solely to scam and exploit people. They lie, take your money, and abandon you when you need them most. Their entire business model is based on bait-and-switch tactics, emotional manipulation, and extortion. If you care about your sanity, your money, and your belongings, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They should be shut down and investigated for fraud. I will be reporting them to every consumer protection agency possible, and if you’ve been scammed by them too, I encourage you to do the same.

This company was awful - unhelpful, rude, untrustworthy
This company was awful!
They drastically underestimated the amount of space I would need to complete my move. Their estimate didn't even accommodate half of the items we needed to move. I believe they did this intentionally to secure my business (and my deposit) and then when I called to tell them that the movers could not fit everything, they increased the price significantly. When I explained that their estimate was way off, they took zero responsibility and simply blamed the fact that they were providing an estimate over the phone and the only recourse was for me to pay more money. The sales team was very responsive in the beginning but when I was past the window of time when my deposit could be refunded, they refused to answer my calls. I left messages and never got a call back. I WILL NEVER USE AMERISAFE AGAIN. They made my move 100 times more stressful than if I had just done the move myself. Do not trust them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They employed a bait and switch technique to keep me on the hook while they gave me quotes not anywhere near the actual price. In my experience, I believe I was defrauded and will never recommend them. FIND ANOTHER MOVER - THIS COMPANY IS NOT THE ONE YOU WANT!

Worst moving experience
I paid for a white glove service. Not that they only not unpacked my stuff and assembled it, they also left all the trash from the move in front of my house. Since I have so many unpacked boxes, I do not even know if all my belongings arrived. I am more than disappointed. For that much money, I could have bought everything new. Please, do not hire them.

Working with AmriSafe Moving Brokerage…
Working with AmriSafe Moving Brokerage was a struggle at every step. The process began with a salesperson eager to make a sale, providing an estimation that did not match the inventory list discussed during multiple video calls. Assurances were given—both verbally and via email by Brian, the salesperson—that there would be no hidden or additional costs. Yet, just a week before the move, Bruce from quality assurance revised the estimate, adding $2000 unexpectedly. Moreover, AmriSafe introduced potential additional charges: $75 for every 75 feet walked in the hallway and $75 for elevator usage.
The situation was exacerbated by their policy of confirming pickup timing less than 18 hours in advance. As a working professional, the inability to schedule time off created unnecessary stress. Furthermore, my initial $1000 deposit made it financially impossible to switch to another company. Despite knowing AmriSafe was a broker, their lack of transparency made planning difficult, something I hadn’t encountered in previous moves with companies providing white-glove service. The absence of a confirmed moving company also puzzled me; I was told it would be "Perfectly Fast Moving & Storage," but a different company arrived on moving day.
In addition to this, despite assurances from Brian, that there would be no extra charges other than second-month storage fees—highlighted in his emails as well—additional costs such as packing materials were unexpectedly quoted at nearly $1000. Attempts to resolve these issues with Veronica from customer service were inefficient, adding to my belief that the approach felt intentionally misleading. While the movers themselves, US Prime Movers, based in Brooklyn, NY, were pleasant and professional, my experience with AmriSafe was replete with stress and broken promises. Given these circumstances, I urge others to approach AmriSafe with caution and to consider alternative, more transparent moving services.

I would stay clear of this moving…
I would stay clear of this moving company. The sales person was great, sold me on confidence which could not be further from the truth. After the 3rd party picked up my things, suddenly there is very little help at all. No one will tell me when my belongings will arrive. At the time of the 'sale' I was given a good range but now that's a dream. Some of the 'customer service' people are hard to reach, I was hung up on by one of them, and the other woman is quite condescending and not at all caring. I'm very stressed and have no where to go while I wait indefinitely for the movers to deliver and am pretty much on my own. I would think they could act a little caring but they don't. Spare yourself the stress and find another mover.
