Inconsistent Quality, Confusing Guides, but good customer service.
I switched to the lunch and dinner plan only. I found the breakfast and snacks to be underwhelming. I like a hot meal in the morning typically with eggs most days. The oats (or TERRIBLE muffins) w/ smoothie wasn't cutting it for me. Snacks were hummus and veggies most of the time so decided to just buy those separately when I want them. I really like the convenience of lunch already prepared and the idea of salad for lunch keeps me 'awake' rather than lethargic afterwards. What I don't like about the salad lunches are when they include noodles. The noodles are ALWAYS so soggy and bland. There was one time where the noodles had the consistency of yogurt. They REALLY need to fix that aspect. I do the pescatarian option since I like fish. Don't think I could ever do full-time Vegan. The guide booklets provided are still confusing. The ingredients provided sometime don't even match up w/ what is listed in the recipes. Sometimes I'll get an email they've substituted something, but mostly just a surprise waiting to happen. Their packaging needs work. Food always arrive lukewarm and we've had on more than one occasion where the shipping box fell apart or the containers inside w/ liquid or pickled something leaked. Customer service has always been willing to make up for these shortcomings, but I'm definitely looking into other options in the mean time.
