Was good, but expectations not met
I'll admit I had high expectations for this service, or at least high hopes. I ordered the 3 day vegan plan for two and the 3 day pescatarian plan for 2 and probably should've ordered them to be delivered separately. There is no marked difference between the boxing of the two plans, and I am fairly confident I mixed up the containers for the dinners between the two (I now assume there is a greater quantity of items in the vegan boxes than in the pesc boxes, given the calories are similar and the meals are as well). This would also explain why my husband was so incredibly hungry after those vegan dinners and why I was so incredibly full after the pesc ones. The hummus and pita weren't bad, but we didn't receive any hummus and veggies as was laid out in the booklet. We also noticed that the photos of the foods in the booklets did not match what we received (no corn salsa for the salad, no peppers in one of the dinners, etc). We also noticed some of the boxes were missing ingredient quantities, one container had one mini pepper and one had none for the same meal, etc. Breakfast was a little confusing as well, the booklet stated to eat the oats and the smoothie and stated the packages were all three servings; however, when measured out, the oats were barely two servings. Not entirely sure about the boost blend as I didn't use it and my husband really did not like it. The banana and pecan mix was excellent and the muffin was pretty good (as long as you had water with it). Overall, the plan was good but I don't feel we got the value we paid (nearly $500!). Was a good jumpstart for us.
