I was excited to place and receive my first order! Here is my review- Cons - Packaging was about to fall apart when delivered. The tape on the bottom split and box was almost open. Ice packs were no longer frozen. Had two deliveries and same issues with both. Produce box - after a few days most of the produce started to look bad and I had the throw a few items away. Others I used ASAP. I was shorted one fish package and there were lose carrots in the food delivery. Pros - Food delivery had large portions and were fresh even with the packaging issues. I will not reorder during the hot months and will consider reordering in the cooler month.

The food is fresh and yummy. The packaging is reasonable and easy to manage. Some of the tops came off of the containers which made it a bit messy, but, nothing that ruined the meal. We have used it for two weeks and are happy so far!

Great tasting, healthy food (small portion sizes) with a couple of issues: 1. I received the wrong items for my planned menu. The recipe called for shrimp but I received only red fish. I made a few substitutions, and it was still tasty. 2. The individual packaging is Not compostable. The marketing materials show compostable materials. I was disappointed to find mine was all plastic containers. They are technically recyclable, but not where I'm from. Overall, pretty good. I'll probably try one more week and re-evaluate. I love the concept immensely! Having a structured meal kit like this is exactly what I need! That being said, I’m not very happy with the customer service department. I called because I noticed that I didn’t have some items that were supposed to come with my order. The rep said that substitutions were made and I should have received an email (which I didn’t). Also, no apology was given, even for the items that were actually missing that I had to go buy to complete the recipe. I fully understand that mistakes happen. We are all human! What I didn’t like was that it wasn’t even acknowledged and definitely not rectified. For a meal kit of this level I expected a little more. I will give it one more shot and not base my experience solely on this first box.

Vegan Starter 3 day meals. Very disappointed with the quality of the meals. The lunch and dinner items did not taste fresh. The items looked stale (this may be due to the packaging) and tasteless! My family tried the meals and gave it a one star rating.

You know it's fresh when the more you chew the food the more flavors that pop, absolutely delicious! Fine quality nourishment done right.

Good concept, but really shoddy food packaging and quality. A few leaves thrown together, do not a salad make. I can pick my own grass leaves and make a better dinner. Sorry, won't be ordering again. The cilantro and green onions were soggy, the shrimp wasn't there, instead another serving of redfish was provided but without a new recipe.

I am sorry to have to leave a negative review of Nutrition for Longevity. I ordered the food last week. It came this week as promised. Unfortunately, they did not use dry ice or proper insulation in the boxing and shipment. Just cold packs that had melted completely. As a result, the food was room temperature (76f) upon delivery by Fed Ex and had to be discarded. Such a shame as the food was packed nicely and looked good. But, with food, one cannot take chances if it was not properly refrigerated. On a very positive note, upon calling and speaking with customer service, I was offered an immediate refund. The company stands by their product! I was also advised that they are aware of the shipping problem and are working on new procedures to insure the packages arrive cold. I think they are are reputable company and I am going to give them another try when the hot weather ends in the fall. I'm looking forward to reordering and enjoying what appeared to be a very well prepared product. Hopefully, I can give them five stars in the future.
