It had the right amount of content and some challenging questions. I liked that it was half price right now as well.

The marathons and big test is just the exact same questions from the quizes. I have great memory, so i just remember the answer you are looking for, though I do read the explanations and further search for stuff I dont understand. Some of the questions are good to get your thoughts going independently, but the questions are super easy- hardly no prioritizing questions, almost NO drug questions!!!! And the wording of the questions are pretty unclear also. One of the questions answer explanations said “AB- is the universal blood reciever and can recieve any blood” this is false, rh- cannot receive rh+ blood. AB+ is the actual universal reciever. I emailed about this explanation and they responded I was correct and had updated the question to the correct blood type. But they made sure to follow up their response by assuring me how “great the program is put together.” A student shouldnt have to call that out, wonder what else they are teaching incorrectly several times. Oh and the probability of passing, is just the percentage of how many quizes you complete, NOT an actual indicator of your real knowledge.

Hello, Stephanie, We're sorry that Nurse Plus didn't meet your expectations. This isn't our usual experience, as you can tell from other reviews. We're glad you were able to answer many questions easily; this is a good indicator that you understand the key content of NCLEX. We're curious: Are you focusing on the NCLEX-PN or the NCLEX-RN test items? Like most NCLEX prep sites, Nurse Plus has more RN practice tests, including the Select-all-that-apply (SATA) questions. We'd also like to hear what categories you think are especially important for new graduates. NCLEX is designed to determine if the candidate is capable of providing safe client care. If you understand content and nursing theory, you are already ahead of others. Nurse Plus is constantly reviewing and updating the questions, as well as providing more options to sort the subcategories that you want to study and practice. We also add to the database. For example, in a week or two, there will be a new set of 100 multiple-choice and 20 SATA questions for Management of Care. This category can be up to 23% of the NCLEX-RN, with a range of 17-23%. We did this because of requests to increase these test items. Nurse Plus is always glad to get suggestions from our subscribers. Again, your recommendations are valuable to us. You're probably aware that there are multiple ways to study; many nursing candidates actively seek learning opportunities from a variety of sources, such as YouTube or traditional printed study guides. The important thing is to use as many active study techniques as possible, since no single source can meet all learning styles. Be sure to download the NSCBN Test Plan to find the list of topics for each Client Needs category and subcategory. While no one can predict what test items will be on your NCLEX, the more you prepare and practice, the better your outcome. We appreciate your taking time to leave a review and wish you success on your NCLEX and in your nursing career. Suzanne B.
