I used Number Barn to transfer (port) a number to Number Barn and then have all calls to that number go to voicemail. I had a little difficulty figuring out exactly what plan I needed so I asked for help. I expected to get some vague answer in a few days. Boy was I wrong! In minutes I had an accurate, clear explanation of what I needed to do, I did it and my entire transfer from when I started to when I got notice my transfer was approved by my current provider was completed and approved in less than an hour! In a world full of poor customer service Number Barn knows its business and takes excellent care of its customers. Outstanding!!

Our daughter is out of the country as an exchange student and the rest of the family is changing cell phone carrier and we needed a place to park her number until she returns. The instructions on how to port were very clear and the number was ported to NumberBarn on the day promised (48 hours later). So glad we are paying $2 and not $30+/ month

I was looking for a number to give my daughter because with the Xfinity in order to receive the current promotion you had to transfer over a number. So i bought a number for $10 plus the $2 monthly porting fee it was activated and ready to port out in 3 hours. I went to Xfinity mobile picked out my daughter phone showed them the porting information and the number was literally transferred out in 1 day, even though i was told by the Sale rep with Xfinity and reading the faq on number barns that it can take up to 3 to 10 business days do to it being a landline number. But i am sooo please and my daughter will be receiving her first cellphone this christmas.

I had a totally frustrating experience with trying to port my number out of OOMA, even though we paid OOMA to port it in over 10 years ago. We were trying to port it out of OOMA and into Hello Mobile/ Qlink. After 3 weeks of frustration we still couldn't get the number ported out. OOMA claimed to have never received the port out request and Qlink said they can't import from VoIP carriers. So we gave up and tried porting out to NumberBarn.com.......WOW what a difference! Smooth online port out in less than 1 hour! No more waiting on HOLD to talk to OOMA customer support or Qlink support. And Number Barn won't charge you if your number doesn't port out successfully! Give it a try all you frustrated OOMA customers

I bought a number to port to ATT from number barn after opening a new line on ATT. Number barn support was fast and extremely helpful and resolved the issues that ATT kept causing as soon and as fast as they could. ATT support was probably the worst experience I've ever had and I've worked years in retail and cellular support. I'd 100% reccomend them to anyone looking for a custom number or any new number they want to port, just because wary of the fact that your phone provider is probably, for some reason, going to give you a difficult time porting because not only are their support staff not well trained unfortunately, they don't communicate with eachother through departments or from person to person outside of leaving notes on support tickets, which I assume they don't do in the first place. Number barn support gave me no issue and although some reviews state they had issues is seems like alot are blaming number barn for issues caused by their original carrier not numberbarn. At any rate if you do have an issue numberbarn in my case, and by reading reviews, seemed prompt to fix them.

This company is one of the best online companies I have ever dealt with. Their service is fabulous and their customer service is exemplary. This is now my "go to company" for anything to do with phone numbers or phone service. They are the BEST !

I purchased a phone number for my new business, activated it, tested it, was ready to go "live" with it, and realized it wasn't HIPAA compliant. Customer service was very helpful and responded to my concerns over a weekend. I was able to return the phone number and was fully refunded for my purchase. There was additional follow-up by other NumberGarage team members to ensure my problem was solved. Their customer service and attention to the matter was exceptional, especially since it was outside of normal business hours. Extremely satisfied with NumberGarage, all the way around.

I bought on number and ported that out to AT&T. The process was pretty smooth, it did take a few days (had weekend in between). I accidentally bought another number, but the support team quickly reversed the transaction and helped a lot will recommend number barn to others.
