they added a number to my account on 1/7/25 that i never requested or authorized and charged my card on file. i deleted that number but i was still charged opened a ticket but not response they have no way to communicate customer service issue except by ticket which in my experience they do not respond to...just a black hole i have no way to resolve other than cancel my account 1/9/2025 - they did respond but offered no solution. said my error even though I had not logged into my account for months and they could look thru their logs and confirm but they choose not to. i closed my account with them 1/9/2025...

I read some of the 5-star reviews about Number Barn before I started but honestly I am having the same experience as Rose and a few other lesser star reviews. I do hate that most companies are going to this " DON'T BREATH ON ME " customer service. Number Barn asks EVERYTIME! to create a ticket, I've created at least 3-tickets for support. I have received 2- email responses but it never gives me a way to reconnect with support. I have to create another ticket and the cycle continues. A phone number company has NO PHONE NUMBER! Go figure? That is quite ironic. I am not satisfied with their service so far.. I am still waiting with bated breath, haha.

If i could give NO star at all i would have certainly done it. Because of so many scams going on on the Net, i decided to give these people a try and buy a quite cheap number. I must say that, before purchasing, i contacted them a couple of times to also test the customer service. I got an answer each time. After the purchase of the number, not only i never heard from them again, I never even got the number ! I was furious because of the way they handled the business but, on my part, it was a test that kept me from spending on other numbers i had the intention to purchase. THANKS !

horrible customer service, takes days to reply and will gaslight you when they finally do.

I bought two numbers and then went for the upsell to move from number barn to number garage and then when i tried to actually use the product and text on their platform i was told i could not do so. i am requesting to have my money returned.

The customer service of Numberbarn is terrible. They don't answer the phone , don't return calls , don't port numbers away , & communication by email takes days .

So on a whim was gonna change my original 10 year old cell number due to alot of all of a sudden scammers calling me. I found this on Google for basically getting a vanity number which is no longer offered through cell service providers. I found my number paid the fees and walla your number is ready. I had to call my cell provider to port over the number and did so getting rid of my old number for good and walla nothing l!!! I found out the number that was in limbo waiting to be posted had a Verizon locked phone thing on it. Next thing I know I lost my old number couldn't pursue the new number and my phone was in limbo for 2 days mind you I am on call 24/7! So surgeries were missed and fees were adding up. I had to get a new number 20 dollars and switch fee 15 and a restart fee 30 plus I had to get a random number from my cell service that sucked. I especially hated that NUMBER BARN HUNG ME OUT TO DRY WITH NO CONTACT HELP, SUPPORT FOLLOW UP OR PHONE NUMBER TO RECTIFY THIS SITUATION. They set thousand of numbers aside so normal people can't use them then they monopolize the area and let it run on auto pilot as to say it sooooo good that no mistakes will be made..yet here we are!! I don't like feeling like a p.o.s and set aside!! This was a horrible experience and I regret it and hope Noone else has to go through it either. Our phones are a extension of us and who we are this was a slap in the face and Noone even cared!! On the rebuttal below again you didn't even listen to my extensive details about the situation on either email and the only outcome I recieved was I quote if your over it, we can refund ya..all I ask all I say is this..do not sell, borrow, loan or ask for money in exchange for numbers that are blocked by the previous carrier!! It did not go through due to being linked to a non paid off stolen phone from verizon..when ported over it said non usable it is locked by Verizon for non pay off of the phone it is linked too..which makes me believe u don't do due diligence or research number u want payment for yet don't care what happens to the people that want said numbers!!

I am really upset with this company making 5 million in gross sales a year from a PO box and 12 employees. They allow me to open an account, and they allow me to start a port in of my number, and then their sensitive computer security system determines that I am high risk, and my account is closed and my transfer is cancelled with no explanation and no assistance provided to me whatsoever. I emailed to customer service their LETTER OF AUTHORIZATION agreement that a "manager" was supposed to review. No response! Now my phone number is in limbo. It is no longer with my old carrier and not with Number Barn either. I need to find out who owns my phone number. And no humans to answer a phone either just to "save money." And their office is closed on Weekends. I am getting my lawyer involved, hope it was worth it to "save money." The customer service manager named Jeremy Watkin is suffering from the Dunning–Kruger Effect, and he takes week long vacations without someone to cover his work, and he forces me to answers his questions multiple times. Plus, he expects me to know why his computers refuse to do business with me. I have no idea! That is his responsibility to know.
