I honestly had a great experience using Northern Moving Systems when I bought my new home recently. I did my due diligence searching for a reputable company that fit with my income and NMS jumped out at once. After giving them a call and setting everything up, I was honestly nervous about some of my treasured belongings. But not to worry! The movers with Northern Moving Systems took their time and were very attentive to my needs. Everything went smoothly and all of my furniture and other items were moved safely with 0.0% damage. I would definitely recommend NMS to anyone looking for a great value in a mover. Along with their customer service and care for my property, they even checked up after to make sure I was satisfied!

I chose NMS to help bring my stuff from my single bedroom to the dorms. I spoke to a rep who told me all of the costs I was expected to pay and didn't leave out any details. He actually made really good suggestions and helped me through the entire process. When my belongings arrived everything was intact and accounted for. I recommend!!!

Northern Moving Systems moved my house belongings on Dec, 16. Adam, Eric and team did a great job! Very courteous and efficient; and no damages. And Jamie's quote was spot on, with no surprises. I highly recommend them to anyone.

They told me I needed a larger truck that would hold 2100 cubic feet but sent a truck that would hold only 1700 cubic feet and charged me about a $1000 more. The truck had to leave to unload onto another truck and come back. It took an extra 4 hours. They did a horrible job packing, even using some of my towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, and bedspreads to wrap with. No boxes for pictures, mirrors, just blankets. No boxes with individual compartments for dishes, glasses, crystal, etc, just paper and piled everything on top of each other, some broken. Almost every piece of my new 2 Y/O furniture has scratches and back of a new dining room chair had back broken. 3 men to load and 5 local packers. When furniture delivered from NC to Florida only 1 driver and a lady helper. I paid nearly $2500 to have them unpack and put everything away and they did absolutely nothing, not one box. I had to hire an individual couple specializing in unpacking and organizing at my own extra expense. I emailed Northern moving systems who are only agents, "but they dont tell you that" and Ocean moving and storage who they subcontracted to do the horrible, destructive move and got NO RESPONSE FROM EITHER. I SHOULD BE REIMBURSED FOR NOT UNPACKING AND SENDING A SMALLER TRUCK AFTER THEY CHARGED ME THOUSANDS EXTRA. Also need to fix or reimburse me for all the damages after unpacking. DON'T EVER USE EITHER OF THESE SCAM COMPANIES AS THEY DO A TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE JOB. Don't ever use Northern moving systems or Ocean moving and storage as they will RIP you off and damage nearly every piece of your wooden furniture.

Wonderful experience! I’m a single mom of three young boys and I could not have been happier with the services provided by Northern Moving Systems. What started as a painful experience (because moving always is) turned into something pleasant. They were on-time, efficient, and very well priced. I recommend their services to anyone who wants to hire effective movers that deliver quality.

They were extremely flexible and actually listened to everything that I had to say. The staff was knowledgeable and I could tell that they took their jobs seriously.
