The packaging is outstanding. After every use, I put the knives in their original packaging. Knives cut through any meat with minimum effort. I use for regular cooking and barbecues. I wouldn’t change my set for anything. Thank You Northern Knives!!!!!!!

Keeping the original packaging for storage — that's a collector's move, Refugio! Glad they're powering through cooking and barbecues alike. Thanks for the loyalty! — Andy @ NorthernKnife

I couldn’t be happier with my purchase from Northern Knife! I bought three knives as Father’s Day gifts this year, and they exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship is beautiful, the quality is outstanding, and each knife feels incredibly well-made and durable. You can tell a lot of care and attention to detail goes into every piece. I absolutely love them and know my husband and son will too. If you’re looking for a high-quality, beautifully crafted knife that will last for years, I highly recommend Northern Knife! 🔪❤️

Three Father's Day knives and a whole family of happy cooks — love it, Shanna! The craft and attention to detail you noticed is exactly why each blade is hand-forged one at a time. Thanks for the recommendation! — Andy @ NorthernKnife

Try cutting a watermelon with 7.1 blade would not cut into had to force it in Did not understand
Response from NorthernknifeAug 18, 2026
Hi Robert — thanks for the honest feedback, and sorry the watermelon put up a fight. A properly honed edge should glide through, so something's off — blades can lose their factory edge in transit, and a quick hone usually brings it right back. Email [email protected] with your order number and we'll sort it, whether that's sharpening guidance or the lifetime warranty doing its job. — Andy @ NorthernKnife

This knife is absolutely amazing! The curved edge and weight make cutting so nice. It was very sharp out of the box and I was able to go right into cutting. I will be ordering more knives in the future.

The curved edge takes some credit, but your knife skills close the deal, Abigail! Glad it was ready to work straight out of the box. We'll be here when you're ready to add the next one. — Andy @ NorthernKnife

I saw an AD for the Loki inspired set and found myself on the website researching out the knives. My boyfriend has Viking heritage and I was looking for a meaningful father's day present. I ordered two knives and they arrived almost instantly. The quality I am incredibly impressed with. And I just know he is going to be in love with them when he opens them. I will be ordering again

A Viking-heritage boyfriend and a Loki set — that's a Father's Day match made in Valhalla, Monique. Glad they arrived fast and impressed; he's going to love opening those. — Andy @ NorthernKnife

I purchased two Loki Knives, one for me and one for my son. Ordering was easy and they arrived quickly. The knives are beautiful. I do alot of barbequing and this knife cuts through the meats with ease. As for my son, he loved it as well. I would 100% recommend these knives.

Two Lokis, one for you and one for your son — that's the right way to share the craft, Fred. BBQ duty is where that blade earns its keep. Thanks for the 100%! — Andy @ NorthernKnife

My birthday was coming up, I wanted something nice for myself. I’ve been cooking steak more recently so I figured I’d get myself some nice knives. I stumbled across northern knives… they just look really cool and sharp. I didn’t expect them to be so nice but when I took them all out of their boxes I was pleasantly impressed. I knew I made the right choice. They’re not professional chefs knives but they’re professionally awesome knives. I don’t cook for a living and they make me happy.

"Professionally awesome knives" might be our favorite review line yet, Anthony. A birthday steak deserves a blade that makes you happy every time you pick it up. Enjoy them! — Andy @ NorthernKnife
