When my Loki knives arrived, I took one out of the box and wrapped my hand around the handle - and it FIT my small hand! Then I slipped a finger into the finger hole, and I swear it woke up some of my norse DNA, because then it fit my hand even better. Now that I am old and arthritic, most knives feel like they are about 2 seconds away from causing me to lose a finger, but this one is STEADY as a ROCK when I am using it! It easily slides through everything I try to cut, without using a lot of force, and if I want to apply some pressure to the back of the blade because my hand is getting tired, it stays very steady. I can even cut thin slices from slender items that would normally twist, roll, or fall over. Zero wobble with my finger in the hole. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for making such a beautiful knife that actually safely accommodates smaller hands, and crippled up old viking grandmas! (If I ever had to use it for self-defense, I might have to pity the aggressor.) This is a well made tool that will become an heirloom. Now I want more of your knives...please make more with the finger-grip.

I ordered 3 Loki knives as gifts. All came in premium packaging and razor sharp for use. Each person I gave it to were amazed at the craftsman ship and appearance of the knife. Balance and use are are extremely well. All around a great experience to use.

I ordered the Bjorn utility knife and Valhalla chefs knife, as well as the premium knife sharpener. Everything came within 5 days, which was 2 days earlier than estimated. Knives came in nice boxes and everything was bubble wrapped, as well. These knives are beautiful and sharp! Slice right through a piece of paper. So happy I found this company as I feel they deliver a good product at a fair price. Cut through meat easily, as well as produce. Love these knives and will purchase more when needed!

Got the Valhalla butcher knife as a gift and this thing is sick. Good quality, handles well. Only minor complaint I have about the company is I ordered a sheath for it and accidentally shipped to the wrong address. I sent an email to their department literally 2 minutes after I placed the order and they couldn’t change the shipping address so I was out $30. My fault to begin with but the fact they couldn’t change the address right after I placed the order seemed dumb. Good brand though 👍

I didn’t know what I was going to get when I ordered from Northern. I knew that I wanted a forged chefs knife that was unique and most importantly, did its job. What I received (Valhalla) is so much more. It’s razor sharp, fits my hand perfectly, and is beautiful. I’m just getting started with it but so far I’m very happy. I’ve been eyeing the Loki next.

On the 13th December I ordered the Viking heritage bundle and 1x premium knife sharpener. On the 24th December this arrived, unfortunately this began the start of this shitshow. The items recieved were not as pictured, arrived wet and boxes damaged (external boxes), the items are not as described in images and for sure are not HAND FORGED. Paper test could not even cut. This is all cheap crap, any positive reviews have to be paid for. I wish I looked at trust pilot. Please check the other northern knife too on .co.uk. The haven’t botted that profile yet. Anyway, since I opened a dispute with this, they emailed me everyday to cancel my dispute, i refused to unless they sent me their return address which they did not provide to me once. Luckily I kept their shipping label that they sent me the damaged package in. I was able to return this on the 15th of Jan 2026, this arrived to them on the 20th of Jan 2026. During this time after I notified them of the return they have offered a 50% refund so that “I don’t need to return and save myself time. What a waste, I had already returned and been disputing this since the 26th of December?? now the have ceased all communication despite the goods being returned to the shipper. I have now lost $558.72. Please be aware of these scammers. 30 day refund policy is not respected.
