Elmo loves his food and welcomes it morning and night. My only issue was the last two times I did not receive the even four of each item. Once I had more beef than chicken and the second more turkey then pork and beef. Other than that detail everything is good.

Hi Theodora, thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We're so happy that Elmo loves his Nom Nom, morning and night! On the other hand, we apologize for the uneven distribution of meals across the four recipes that you received. Please be encouraged to reach out to our care team at [email protected] to ensure that Elmo is getting exactly what he needs!

Used Nom Nom for a few months for my two dogs -- one is a puppy and the other an older dog that is calorie restricted due to being overweight. I bought a scale to verify the grams because the packages did not look like consistent portions and I was right -- it was all over the place. I complained once and was sent a bag of treats. My 110 gram packages went anywhere from 93 grams to 125 grams and my 175 gram packages went anywhere from 160ish to 196. The chunks of carrots seemed uncooked or undercooked and rubbery and would come out as solid chunks in their waste -- so they weren't being digested. It was upsetting their tummies. I had to use a food processor to blend it into a consistency that could be digested. I had a $500 vet bill for the puppy for her upset stomach. Needless to say I canceled explaining to them the portion discrepancy and the undigested food and upset tummy but the vet visit hadn't happened yet at that time. For over $220 per month I expected better. I addressed all of these issues in my cancellation email and they addressed none of the issues in their response which is below... Pricey, but our dogs love the food. Been on the food for almost a year. Our dogs have never been healthier. Took our senior dog in for a check up and all of his lab blood work and organs came back in superior condition. Storing the months supply of food for 2 dogs a little annoying space wise ... we might want to consider and extra freezer just for the food but we do love the Individually wrapped bags. I also like the email notifications regarding meal shipments. Knowing that we feed our babies the best quality food that is nutritious, especially as they get older, gives us peace of mind and is very much worth every penny. Thank you.

S.R., We're thrilled that your dogs love their Nom Nom, and that they've never been healthier! That's music to our ears. If you're short on freezer space, you may consider shifting to a biweekly or weekly delivery cadence; we offer both!

My pup passed away. I cancelled 3 subscription boxes, one of which was Nom Nom. The other subscriptions immediately refunded me and sent little consolation cards. Meanwhile Nom Nom was the only one that rejected my request for a return (I had the entire box left) and told me to eat the cost and donate the food instead.

Hi Anna, we extend our sincere condolences in the wake of Jovi's passing. While we aren't able to accept returns due to the perishable nature of our food, we do understand your frustration. We have since initiated a full refund for your order, and are sending warm thoughts your way during this difficult time.

Sushi (maltese) has been eating Nomnom for a while. We had to go out of town suddenly and weren't able to intercept or change the address for the NomNom delivery. A neighbor had my key and was supposed to bring box in (she did) and put in freezer (she forgot). So 7 days later the food was no good. I contacted customer support and a new box was shipped. But off to Petco we went and I bought a vet recommended canned food. Sushi ate but not well. He stooled larger amounts and frequently. Today, NomNom arrived. It was frozen solid but Sushi still seemed to know that box was his. I defrosted one of the packets and put in his bowl. Gone, in seconds. Every meal of the canned, I threw out half the recommended portion. Sushi LOVES NomNom and now I know for certainty there is a difference.

Chico loves his food. Always comes on time. Sometimes the ice is melted. Otherwise it looks good. Has helped Chico's stomach issues.
Response from Nom NomDec 22, 2020
Hi Kay, we're delighted that Chico is a big fan of Nom Nom! It's wonderful to know that our food has helped to resolve his stomach issues. Dry ice does sublimate in transit, so as long as the meals are cool to touch upon arrival, they're perfectly safe to serve!
