California and Arizona RavelcoWe believe no car should be stolen. With that belief in mind, we sell and install an anti-theft device with an unparalleled track record. The Ravelco Anti-Theft Device has been around since 1976, sold over 5,000,000 units without ever having a vehicle stolen by defeating the device. We can protect your vehicles. About the Ravelco Anti-Theft DeviceThis small device is installed in the dash. Remove the plug and the vehicle will not start. The Ravelco offers an unbeatable combination of sturdy construction, secure technology, and ease of use.Designed to work AGAINST the way thieves steal vehiclesThieves go straight to the car’s weak point to steal it: the wires under the dash. Every wire they need to start the car is there. This is also where EVERY alarm and other theft prevention device is wired.Inside the passenger compartment, thieves are hidden from view. The Ravelco is different from other car security devices. Underneath the dash, the Ravelco wires are protected with steel, so thieves can’t get access to them. Even if they did, all the wires are the same color, and there is no pattern to follow.Thieves are forced OUTSIDE the car to work in the open. Inside the engine compartment, all the wires are hidden inside the factory wiring, disguised to look like factory wiring, or put out of view behind engine components. Thieves don’t want to stand outside the car with the hood open, unraveling your car’s electrical system and removing engine components, where anyone can easily see them.Thieves want to get in your car and be gone within 5 minutes. With a Ravelco Anti-Theft Device installed, they can’t.

Great product and there is nothing sweeter than having peace of mind believing my truck will be there tomorrow when I leave the house.

Technical issues with the installation which were not resolved. Accidental attempts to start the vehicle without the Ravelco renders the car inoperable. Example would be hotel and restaurant valets. I am responding to your response. You can tell valets, then there is a shift change. The only way I could restart the vehicle was to disconnect the battery. Not a good solution. I am in Las Vegas, your staff know who I am.

We will certainly resolve any technical issues. Every vehicle behaves differently, but it should not leave the car inoperable. The plug should be the first thing in and the last thing out. In a small number of newer vehicles, the ignition must be turned off before the plug is inserted so the car's systems can properly initialize. If you're having continued issues with people not putting the plug in when the vehicle is off, please call us and we will do what we can to resolve the issue. We would also recommend telling the valets to leave the plug in, and not to take it out.

Had this installed on my 1996 Ford F-250. It was my departed father's truck so its very important to me. December of 2021, I came out and found someone had forced entry, pried the ignition, and the battery was dead. Crooks obviously tried to steal it and cranked the motor until the battery died. When they were unsuccessful they took the catalytic convertor. Because of Revelco, I still have my dad's truck. Best money I have ever spent.

I have 2 mid 90's Honda civics, from history we know these years are very easy to hotwire or use a "master" key to start and steal these year vehicles. So with a little research I found this company Ravelco. Did some research on their history and product, found reviews and decided this is the way to go. An alarm system these days are easy for thieves to circumvent and take your car. With the Ravelco installed I now do not worry at all that my car will be taken no matter where I park it, that is unless the thief loads it onto a trailer or tows it away. Your car, once this is installed, cannot be started. I also have this installed on my 1996 F250 truck so it will too will stay mine and not end up missing.
