New York Theatre GuideReviews of newyorktheatreguide.com

I had a Voucher that was going to expire this month, I chose my Broadway Play and paid with the Voucher. It was simple.

NEW YORK THEATRE GUIDE 👎🏻 I went on another website to order tickets from our Broadway show. I put in my information. It kept spinning and spinning. I assume the order did not go through and so I did it again. The same thing happened. Again, I assumed the order didn’t go through.. I saw New York Theatre Guide. For a few dollars more I could protrction. See below. After checking, my email all three orders had gone through. NEW YORK THEATRE GUIDE had an option to chat. Though I purchased the protection they said they could not cancel. They issued a voucher for another show. The box office was kind enough to return the full amount of one performance to my credit card . NEW YORK THEATRE GUIDE did not extend the same courtesy. So be aware missed then protection is not that at all. So disappointed in this company.

This predatory website is designed to trick people who accidentally land on it into buying tickets at very inflated prices, when they’re available on the show’s website at a much lower price. GO DIRECTLY TO THE SHOW’S SITE!! Great seats for Hamilton on the Hamilton site are $499. On this they’re $799. I couldn’t afford that so paid $519 for the best that could buy and after the fact saw on the Hamilton site the seats were $349. My bad for not doing my homework. No refund, only vouchers, even when I contacted them within 1/2 hour of purchase after realizing I made a mistake. This is a very important brief time for my daughter and I who rarely see one another and I’m older and digging into my pocket to get the best I can. This is illegitimate with no value, just trickery. Going to theater and introducing your children to theater is supposed to be a wonderful experience and this site just makes it sad. It ruined my day and I’m not looking forward to the show I couldn’t wait to introduce my daughter to. No one wants to overpay for something. If that’s ur business model u should get another business. They replied they refunded me but left out the detail they kept my insurance fee totaling $176. Will post if they refund that. I reached out to them within 1/2 hour of booking yesterday, once I realized I made a mistake ordering from this site. Even airlines give u 24 hours.

if it's NY theatre guide, not sure why it's based in London and I was charged a foreign transaction fee. It was for a play at La Mama in the East Village in NYC.

This is a third party site — I paid a 20% premium for a seat I could have gotten directly from the theatre. I am subject to their final sale policy — ie, could not get a refund. Look for official tickets first! Learn from my lesson!

Easy to use site, but the convenience fee was very high. Better/cheaper to book direct.

I wrote or called a few times to ask about seating and cast replacements on matinees and was answered quickly and people were very pleasant and helpful.

My experience was great promblem was solved with no issue fast and quick very pleased
