The bikes were quite easy to assemble and we really love them. But more important was their customer support. Their responsiveness, follow up and follow through was extra extraordinary.

We purchased 1 carbon ST bike and loved it and purchased a second one. The bikes are great, love how lightweight they are. We previously had 2 bikes from lectric and sold them, because of their weight and bulkyness. We had ann opportunity to contact customer service by email and phone and were very pleased with their help. They were easy to reach and was able to speak to them personally.

I would give a 4.8 review score. Love the bike; light weight; quiet and responsive motor; fun to ride; easy to store and lift onto bike rack. The only negative I find is that motor is a bit weak for steeper hills. Even in Turbo mode, steep hills are not as effortless as hoped for and require a lot of pedal support. Otherwise, for gentle ups and down, the bike is a breeze.

I am 74 years old. I started riding bicycles at age 5 or so and got my first bike from my parents when I was 9 at christmas. They got me a one speed sturdy bike that today would be classed like a beach cruiser. I rode that bike all over the West San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles growing up. After college I moved to San Diego and once I had a family decided to get a 21 spped off road mountain bike so I could traverse various roads and conditions. That worked for many years but as I got older it got hard to get up the hills to get home, so I started driving my bike in the back of our pickup truck to various locations to ride. That got old and I lost the freedon I felt by being able to get everywhere I wanted to ride on my own. 4 years ago I decided to get the Carbon Pro 1 bike and it is everything I hoped it would be. I still feel like a kid because I can leave my house on my bike and go 25 miles down the hill to Mission Bay and ride all around the bay and to Ocean Beach or La Jolla and still get home on my own. I have had a couple of issues and the support team at Urtopia has been great making sure I can fully use my bike. Freedom to ride!

I bought the Urtopia Ultra Joy e-bike 5/26. It’s light, easy to operate & fun to ride! I contacted customer support re: how to remove bike grease foot prints ( grandies !) from the crème frame. Reece responded w/i 24 hrs w a solution. Super impressed w this whole company !

After test riding an e-bike at our local bike shop, my wife and I decided to invest in our own. We have rented e-bikes twice before. But we wanted to get something on the "lighter" side of e-bikes. The shop owner suggested we test the Urtopia Carbon Classic ST that he had available, which we did, and we immediately decided to purchase two from him. The carbon fiber frame makes all the difference in keeping the weight down. Even turning off the assist completely, we can peddle the bikes without difficulty. And while we purchased a car bike rack that came with a ramp to aid placing the bikes on it, I have yet to use it....I can easily lift the two bikes onto the rack without using the ramp. We love the way the bikes ride. I little jarring going over frost heaves on rail trails (we accepted the fact that to cut weight, the bike does not have built-in suspension) but we have changed to a suspension seat post that helps and Urtopia just sent us their "ultra-comfort" saddle to try (haven't gone distances with these yet to see how much they help. Changing the assist level is simple and effective. The Shimano derailleur shifts flawlessly. When we first got the bikes I thought the little bell on it was kind of silly.....but boy does it help get the attention of walkers on rail trails we ride on even from a distance. Extremely useful. Just so much fun to ride especially....don't have to worry approaching hills that would cause us to strain on our standard bikes. And we can ride new trails without fear of hills. I have been especially happy with my interactions with Urtopia itself. The first time I contacted the company with a question, I genuinely wondered when or if I would hear back. But literally within minutes of sending my message, I received a response!!! And all of my subsequent messages have been answered within 24 hours. They have been very responsive to my questions. One minor thing to note is that while the display on the bike has a clock on it, it is a 24-hour clock (commonly called military time in the US) and apparently I have been told by Urtopia that there is no way to change that to a 12-hour clock. Should be a minor software change and I hope this is changed in the future. I highly recommend the Urtopia Carbon Fiber bikes that we purchased and have nothing but good things to say about the company

Everytime I called Urtopia customer support, I quickly got to a very nice person who was able to care of my problems.
